A: Pours a nice golden yellow with a two finger head that fills the
glass. Lacing hangs around for the duration of drinking and coats the sides.
S: Piney resin, grapefruit and other fruits.
T: Can you get a better blended beer? Pine, grapefruit, citrus that blends deliciously with the malts
M: Nice carbonation that goes down smooth. Feels like a perfect beer.
O: I could drink this beer all day, every day. Deliciously well rounded and a pleasure to drink. It is worth all the hype and more.

This is an okay beer. It's definitely not worth the hype that TF has made. I've tried it a few times & I just wasn't blown away. I've had other APA's/IPA's that I can say are much better. It's not a bad beer, but I wouldn't put it within my top 10 beers of all time.

I thought the only way I'd ever be able to try this top-rated brew was to fly to Chicago. But my friend BigStein88 got some in a trade and thanks to his generosity, I had a bottle to open.

Bottled 1/7/14. Interesting comic-bookish label art in multi-metallic colors.

Poured from the 12 oz. bottle into an Innis & Gunn flute.

a: An appealing clear dark gold with an inch tall offwhite head which receded to thin surface foam and dense lacing. Little other detectable carbonation.

s: Intense pine resin.

t; Intense pine up front over a medium malt base. Bitterness lingers on the sides of the tongue, a little throat burn too. Soon all that softens and a pleasant floral aftertaste emerges, leaving the impression you've been drinking some sort of ambrosia rather than beer..

m: Moderate, good body, yet seems somehow lighter than it is. Probably the flavor makes it seem so.

o; A tasty and powerfully hoppy ale, well deserving its place among the top brews available. Great combination of appearance, aroma, flavors, hop bite, aftertaste, mouthfeel - this 'un has it all. Unfortunately I'm not expecting to get any more anytime soon.

Served in a tulip snifter.

A: A beautiful honey golden color. Minimal head with great retention and abundant lacing.
S: A flowery, fruity, citrusy aroma that is exceeded only by its taste.
T: Apricots, grape fruit, dragon fruit, mango, citrus and flowery hops.
M: A medium bodied, effervescent mouth-feel.
O: On draft and in bottles, Zombie Dust is one of my all time favorite beers. I did not succumb to the hype, I am just a sucker for citra hops. It's an IPA for APA lovers, and an APA for IPA lovers.
