Pours a dark orange color with a finger length white head. Dissipates quickly and leaves a nice lacing. Smells of intense, juicy, sweet fruits like pineapple, mango, grapefruit, some peach, tiny bit of floral notes, lots of tropical fruit, sweet carmel. Almost like a bubblegum smell. Taste starts a hefty dose of citrus, sweet, savory fruits like pineapple, mango, and peach, get some floral qualities as well. Very classic floyds taste. Then gets even sweeter with the carmel malts and more fruits. Then finishes with more citrus fruits, even more tropical fruits, more carmel. Nice dry finish. During the entire taste profile, a good amount of hop bitterness lingers. Somewhat bitter, but just so darn smooth, fruity, and refreshing and definitely not as intense as the aroma suggests. Mouthfeel is creamy. Medium body with a good amount of carbonation, which adds to the refreshing quality of the beer. Have had it many times, and never ceases to amaze me. Best session beer on the market.

I've only had this beer bottled although hopefully soon will have the opportunity to try it on-tap. I believe that everything about this ale is perfectly balanced, highlighting the uniqueness of Citra, and that Three Floyds has set the standard by which all beers brewed using Citra will be measured.
The overall appearance regarding color and head are exactly as one might expect or should expect from an ale. It is the distinct aroma and taste of Citra hops, which again is a perfect balance with the grain and yeast, that takes Zombie Dust to another level.

I can't even do the whole M-T-A-O rundown.

I will keep this simple: This is the best beer in America...of any style, period. I've had the Plinys, the RR sours (which are my favorite!), Heady Topper, Lawson's, Hill Farmstead, the rest of the FFF lineup...

Nothing comes close to Zombie Dust. Nothing. I lucked out and got a case last year as I was heading East, but this time I was stuck only having it on tap.

It's a nearly-flawless beer, and nothing comes close. 5/5, every single time.
