Bottle dated 2/11/14.

Appearance: Pours the perfect color for a pale ale. An amber color with an orange hue. Thin white head dissipated, leaving both lacing and a small residual amount on the beer surface

Smell: Very hoppy smell. I get a floral bouquet and pine smell. Amazing.

Taste: Taste is damn near perfect. Get the same tastes as what I smell. A touch of breadiness and citrus.

Mouthfeel: matches the style completely. Perfect balance of malt and hops without being overly bitter.

Overall: I was worried that this beer wouldn't live up to the hype that people give it. It has lived up to my expectations and is the best pale ale that I have had. Love the floral taste and smell and would gladly trade for more of this.

Poured a hazy golden orange with a thin off white head with some lacing on the glass. Smells and tastes fantastic. Citrus fruits come through along with a piney resinous aroma with a slight but present malt backbone. The taste is much of the same; tough to put this one down after each sip. Glad I was able to get a sizer in a trade. It will be missed until next time!

A. Orange amber in color. One finger of head that dissipates into a thin ring of foam. Nice lacing.

S. Bready malt and orange zest.

T. Follows the nose. Bready malts and orange zest. Some Citrus flavor as well though not as pronounced as I was expecting.

M. High carbonation and thin body. Dry finish.

O. While good, This one doesn't live up to the hype for me. Given that it is hopped with Citra, I expected more Citrus flavor. Additionally the mouthfeel is quite thin.

I was so very disappointed with this beer, given all the hype associated with it. My friends are all like, "Oh, try this beer, you'll love it!" But this is the United States of America, and just because everyone else treats a beer like a heroin addiction, does not mean I do too. I've seen people refuse to drink anything but this and Gumball Head, and you know what? They don't drink very often. Well, I happen to like beer, but for as hard as it is to get this one, plus, the watery body and flavor of it, I happen to think this one blows. But, to each their own. This is not the best beer in the world people. If you enjoy driving to 25 different liquor stores and wasting countless amounts of time and money just attempting to find a single six pack, which is usually the limit if you can if you do find any, then by all means America, go right ahead. The people responsible for the hype are the same people who made Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber famous. That being said...

A - Cloudy and grey
S - Slightly flowery with a hint of lavender
T - Like a rotten peach and juniper, but tart
M - Felt like I was drinking water
