look: 4 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

appearance: cloudy orange, thick white head, retained well.
smell: favorite part of the beer. lots of grapefruit, orange, tropical fruit.
taste: close with smell. floral, fruity, very close to an ipa
mouthfeel: a bit thick for an apa. partially why I almost conside this an ipa
overall: probably the best apa ever. not a pale ale fan so I was beyond impressed

People hella wig on Zombie Dust (and I mean, full disclosure, I do think about that aroma in my private moments), but to me it just don't taste like much. Emperor has no clothes. Still, definitely more Moët bellini than Popov martini and that's no shade, Moët bellini's are for reals tasty.

Pours golden orange, slightly hazy, and tons of frothy off-white foam.

Huge tropical notes, pineapple, mango, melon, orange, and grapefruit.

Pineapple, mango, and tangerines explode over a resinous body.

Light-medium bodied, medium-high carbonation, oily, bitter, resinous.

Overall, just an outstanding beer. I docked the overall however since the abundance of hops doesn't fit the APA style. Call it an IPA and I'll change my score.

Have picked up two 6 packs in the last 3 weeks. Both packs were bottled about a week before I drank them. This is an excellent beer and has no faults. I hope with the expansion at Three Floyds this will become more readily available (liquor stores in Indianapolis get 1 case about every 2 weeks), and I don't have to leave work early to get my hands on some. One of the best beers I've ever drank, and if you get it fresh like I have recently it is unbelievably good.
