Reviewed from notes. On tap at Mikkeller bar.
A: Clear golden / copper color with a small white head.
S: Smell is very hoppy, with mainly tropical fruits (mango, passion-fruit)
T: The taste follows the nose, very fruity, also resinous. Finishes quite bitter.
M: Medium bodied, with a good carbonation, very refreshing.
O: A very nice pale ale. I would have called it an IPA, very fruity and tasty given the ABV.

Poured from a bottle into a pint mug.
Appearance- Pours a nice hazy orange with a big lacy head. Nice looking.
Smell- Big juicy, dank, wet, earthy, hop character. Strong spruce pine vibes. Hints of sour diesel or other high grade marijuana strains. Pungent ripe blood orange notes. Great smelling IPA.
Taste- Bitter dry hop bite, quickly fades into rock candy malts. Finishes dry and clean- almost too clean, like San Pellegrino mineral water. Really easy drinking, but a bit disappointed in the flavor considering the hype around this one.
Mouthfeel- Smooth and dense leaving a puckery, tangy coat on the tongue
Overall- I waited a long time to acquire one of these, and I am thankful I got to try it. Unfortunately I don't think it meets the hype associated with it. Don't get me wrong, it's a great beer, but a little bit of a let down. All nose forward but a little lacking in taste. Easy drinkability and very sessionable. I will definitely drink this again if the opportunity presents itself.

Pours a nice orangy color, with a bit of haze and a pretty weak head that dissapears quickly.
The smell is nice and hoppy with tropical and citrus dominating. The taste follows suit. The hops are the focus, but this beer definitely has some malty flavors as well. It's a tasty beer! Mouthfeel was a bit resiny for my tastes, but still good. Overall, it's an impressive beer. Impressive that they could get that amount of hoppiness into a balanced beer and keep the alcohol under 7%. I would definitely drink this again. However, while I don't want to knock an excellent beer, temper your expectations a little, as # 7 on the BA list seems very high to me. I belongs on the list for sure, but not up that high.
