No bottle date.

Poured into a standard tulip glass.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy, golden orange with a two finger slightly off white head. Tons of head retention and plenty of sticky lacing. Great looking brew!

Aroma: In your face Citra hops! Wow! Bright aromas of ripe peach, mango, juicy tangerine, lemon zest and pine with a subtle, sweet maltiness underneath it all.

Taste: Loads of hops right up front, very similar to the aroma. Very tropical; peach, pineapple, tangerine, mango, grapefruit, and pine with a some what sweet, cracker-esque malt to round off this very hop-forward pale ale. Finishes dry and bitter, as any true pale ale should.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied and robust, yet with just enough carbonation to be lively and refreshing.

Overall A pitch perfect example of a west coast styled pale ale. The delicate and well balanced malt backbone of this pale ale really allows the new Citra hop varietal to really take flight and really showcase its many nuances. This is an incredible pale ale that really lives up to it's well deserved hype. Highly recommended.

Zombie Dust. Recommended to me by a fellow beerfreak. By the way, I claim coin to the word beerfreak since I haven't seen it used. This is a good one. Quite pricey at 20 a six, but well worth it. Okay, the citrus is there as it is with all hopsy beers, but it stays constant. The same peppery, citrusy flavor throughout. Its obvious since there is only one variety of hops used. Okay, hops aside, this is a carefully crafted brew that the owners of the recipe want to get right. I think they did it. The hops crafting is the feature of this brew, but there is no skimping on the brewing. Body, taste, head, and mouthfeel. I like it. Not an everyday drinker, but a special occasion one. Good job Floyd, Floyd and Floyd.
