A: Pours a coffee-black color, lets a little bit of light in on the edges; two finger-width tan head, heavy lacing, good retention
S: Roasted coffee and smoky wood. Nothing that really pops out at me, but still pleasant
T: Starts wit a light smoky wood/coffee flavor that opens up quickly on the middle of the tongue and dissipates by the time it reaches the back; finishes with some bitter woody flavors. Overall the flavor profile is very light and airy, nothing that is heavy or assaulting on the palate.
M: Smooth and light-bodied with a slightly boozy sharpness at the end.
O: This was a really good porter, depending on the price I'd probably buy it again.
