This is a beautiful beer and worthy of being a tribute.
Gorgeous peach, opaque, and billowy head that lasts and laces.
Very fruity aroma, mangos and grapefruit and maybe some orange. Very lush.
Taste is the same. A lush and rich flavor. The hops are buoyed by the sweetness. It doesn't seem malty but fruity and rich. And it leaves a nice grapefruit aftertaste with just enough stickiness.
It's Zombie Dust plus but without the pine flavors. I don't get much of the Belgian taste, but there is some herbal/earthy taste as part of the richness.
Wonderful. Also had in a bottle picked up on DLD. Great as well.

Had on Tap at Brixies and poured into a sifter.
A) Dark orange, clear, and has a two finger head that lasts leaving good amount of lace.
S) Wow sugary candy, citrus fruits, honey?, Belgian yeast.
T) Malty, skittles, bread, grapefruit, Belgian yeast aftertaste
M) Creamy very similar to Apocalypse Cow, low amount of carbonation.
O) One of the best FFF I had in a long time probably since In the Name of Suffering

Pours a cooper sheen with a generous dense whitish merengue head. One can easily agitate a head anytime while spending time with this.
Aroma leads with a pink grapefruit cocktail and tangerine. Fruity with a standout hop.
Initial taste I get a peppery hop sensation that goes to the back of the palate. Semi-sweet fruit then noticeable upfront laying nicely on the tongue with a dense earthy hop cone and resinous pine. Nice grapefruit pith/hop bitterness that is dry. Alcohol noted in a sense comparable to that of a London dry gin-no lime. A most contemplatable quaff if ever I had one.
Spicy pepper hop lingers on the palate as the sweetness of the malt helps to adhere as such. Medium to full bodied that is somewhat creamy. Clean and dry finish. A definite sipper, not a ZD cuuurusher!!!
I was able to score only two of these bad boys and I want to make the best of it and take my time. Overall a fine Belgium IPA that quite possibly could lead the category as defined.
