Pours a cooper sheen with a generous dense whitish merengue head. One can easily agitate a head anytime while spending time with this.
Aroma leads with a pink grapefruit cocktail and tangerine. Fruity with a standout hop.
Initial taste I get a peppery hop sensation that goes to the back of the palate. Semi-sweet fruit then noticeable upfront laying nicely on the tongue with a dense earthy hop cone and resinous pine. Nice grapefruit pith/hop bitterness that is dry. Alcohol noted in a sense comparable to that of a London dry gin-no lime. A most contemplatable quaff if ever I had one.
Spicy pepper hop lingers on the palate as the sweetness of the malt helps to adhere as such. Medium to full bodied that is somewhat creamy. Clean and dry finish. A definite sipper, not a ZD cuuurusher!!!
I was able to score only two of these bad boys and I want to make the best of it and take my time. Overall a fine Belgium IPA.

My purposely vigorous pour gets me an inch and a half of wavy yellow bread head. Tons of sticky lace is left behind as the head recedes oh so slowly. Body is a murky amber orange. Very appropriate for the style in terms of looks.
Nose is a fragrant mix of bready sweet malts supported buy fruity and citrus surrounded hops. Really nice and well presented from a smell standpoint. Very appetizing.
The first sip brings a pillowy soft body that really hugs the palate. Such a nice balance of hops and malts are a perfect marriage of drinkability. Starts with fruit bread sweetness that is light and crisp. This is made to be not to heavy by the balance of hops. These hops dry out the sweetness and add a very well needed bitterness that hangs on through the finish of this brew.
The flavors really ride a roller coaster on the taste buds and it is a fun ride.
Mouthfeel is dry and crisp with a sweet cracker finish. This is a wonderful beer that I wish I had more easy access to. I still think this is a bit of a misunderstood style for most of the hop heads out there.
