Pours a beige tan head. Color is black.
Aroma: Roast and Belgian yeast. Chocolate and cocoa. Lots of vanilla and caramel. Dark fruits and molasses to round things out.
Taste: Roasted malts, coffee, grassy hops, Belgian yeast, cocoa nibs, chocolate, molasses and dark fruits. Pretty much mimics the nose, but some of the hops show here.
Mouthfeel: Roasted, smooth, and creamy. Medium to full bodied. Medium carbonation. Ends roasty.
Overall, I got a bit out of each beer. Coffee from BGBW. Belgian yeast from BA. Hops for Darkness. Sweetness from DL. Maybe a bit too much of a combination.
