I had this a while back, and something was just off. Split it with a buddy and it was a drain pour for both of us.

This was real tasty! Just now what people are thinking it's worth. It's worth it's trade 1:1 with a Marshal Zhukov. Period.

22oz bottle, poured into a snifter

A- pours nearly pitch black with a small creamy khaki colored head that retains long after the pour, leaving some nice lace behind

S- dark chocolate malt with a hint of coffee up front, dark cherry and sherry, smoky malt, slightly charred, hints of fig & raisin

T- quite sweet up front with big notes of chocolate and smoky malt, big flavors of dark cherry juice & molasses, slight oxidization gives flavors of sherry, fig and raisin on a sweet vanilla cream finish, light coffee linger with peppery notes

M- medium-heavy body with low carbonation leads to a rich and creamy mouthfeel that continues into a velvety finish, slight alcohol warmth on the linger

O- a wonderful blend of four already world class beers that has aged nicely over the last few years

650ml yellow waxed bomber poured into tulip 4/1/15, gotta thank kumatmebrew for this one

A black liquid, deep cola edge, a finger of mocha foam slowly falls to thin film leaving lots of random lace deep down the glass

S molasses, dark fruit, chocolate and coffee, more Black Albert then the others, a little booze, licorice, and a little more coffee

T coffee, dark fruit ad molasses are strong again, its sweet but manageable, raisin and plum, just the faintest Belgian influence but it works, lots of sugars of all sorts, fruit I can't place, the complexity might hinder more then help

M thick and syrupy, not whole lot of heat for a beer this big, not that sticky for beer this sweet, a little slick on the palate

O great beer but I think I liked all of the blends by them self more on their own then mixed together, its easy enough to drink I'll say that much

interesting concept and a solid bottle of beer but I think I'd take all the blends on their own over this, well when I think of it this ones better then Dark Lord

pour is dark. like, i cant see the letters on my glass dark. i love when stouts are this black. head is brownish, but there is little to none. smells like dark fruits, raisins, plums, etc. taste is much the same, but this is smooth. really smooth, as in it went down way too fast. big thanks to the swtfyw fibs even though the pac beat your asses.
