Well, it's one of the most interesting packages for beer. Definitly a crowd pleaser.
A: Lighter than anticipated. Pours deep brown to black and is not nearly opaque in the glass. For the heft of the beer, it is visually somewhat deceptive. Attractive light ring of deep tan head, but not alot of carbonation.
S: Roasty of course. Some bisquit and certainly the usual dark chocolate. Caramel is more dominant than in alot of stouts.
T: Caramel again obvious. Burnt marshmellow, and mocha. Chocolate milk. Very distinct caramelized malt (like biting into some fresh grains).
M: Wonderful. The lighter than expected color belies the thickness. Viscous. A pleasure.
D: I would happily put down a bomber of this solo over an extended evening. But wouldn't be begging for more. Nothing wrong there.
Glad to finally try this. Will seek out more, but not trading the farm.
