Poured into a half liter pokal.
Given a vigorous pour, the beer had a three finger head with excellent lacing over an amber/maple body. The smell is like a DIPA, which leaves me wanting more, but smells good regardless. The taste is sweet, lots of bright fruity flavors with a hint of alcohol, this very full-bodied beer is dangerously drinkable at such a high ABV. If you're a fan of either of these two, grab it.
PS Ugly label.

Appearance: deep orange hinting towards red. almost opaque but just barely able to see through when held to the light. bubbly off white head that leaves a lacing behind
Smell: figs and dark fruit along with a strong wheat backbone. quite a bit of strength to the smell but not quite alcohol
Taste: opens up with figs that mix with the wheat that consists of most of the beer. ends with a strong hoppiness and slight alcohol bite
Mouthfeel: fairly light and wheaty. ends with a bit of bitterness from hops and alcohol
Overall: a fairly good but overall disappointing beer. Three floyds is talked up a lot and this one let me down a little especially for the steep price tag

750ml bottle. Wine glass. Orangish amber color, cloudy appearance. Yellowish foam creates a creamy, wide layer & sticky head. Copious rigs & collars. Prune & plum, herbal & candy, intense caramel malt aromas, notes of brown sugar & molasses on the back as well as cumin & anise seed hues. Malty, creamy, toasted & sweet upfront rounded by hints of fruity candies. Full body. Extra soft carbonation. Oily texture & silky palate. Herbal infusion & slight earthy bitterness arise in the middle, but they are overwhelmed by toasted & brown sugary flavors. Sweet/bitter finish. Hints of anise with subtle underlying fudge chocolate on the aftertaste. Delicious, warming, no harsh, alcoholic sensation. A big one!!

Got this one a long time ago.
Served in a FFF glass.
A: Gold, mildly unclear, and with a nice 2-finger head.
S: So much hop + caramel. Nice! Potent and hop + Alka Seltzer.
T: Kinda boozy, a bit of carrot juice thrown in, and infinitely bitter. Still, this was a dream brew.
M: Low carb, which was perfect for this style. I hate this style overall, but the true edge was there.
O: Really nice beer, but not as good as Risgoop, to my mind.
