Lucky enough to walk into Clark St. Ale House and find this one on tap.

A- Lighter shade for a DIPA. Nice white frothy head and haze. Some lacing on the tulip.

S- DANK. The more a beer smells like home (Humboldt) the more I like it. Some tart ass fresh lemon and pine there as well.

T- Dank. Dry. Pine and some crazy citrus, grapefruit. Really just face blasting. It's my favorite DIPA from Three Floyds for sure, like Zombie Dust's big brother. No malt here buddy.

M- Crispy dry and perfectly carbonated. Tongue burn.

O- This is one of the better beers I have had from Three Floyds, and that is saying a lot. I would love to see this one more often.

Serving: 22 oz. bomber dated 7/25/14, poured into a Founder's pint glass.

A: Pour a very cloudy and hazy orange color. Faint 1/4 finger white head.

S: Pineapple, mango, tangerine, clementine.

T: Same as it smells, with pineapple and tangerine flavors dominating. Actually rather sweet for a DIPA. Has an almost "juicy" and "fruity" quality and flavor to it.

M: Nice and full. Alcohol hidden very well. Faint bitterness on the finish, not overwhelming at all.

O: So I was surprised to see this listed as a DIPA on BA. Bottle says "cimmerian pale ale". As I started to drink it, it tasted more like a big IPA. But DIPA certainly fits it nonetheless. This is a good beer. For 3F DIPAs, my standard is Permanent Funeral, and this is nowhere near that level. This one's a bit too juicy-sweet for me. Tropical fruit flavors are very dominating. Still a great effort from 3F though.

Recommendation: Any fan of 3F or very citrusy DIPAs should grab this if able.

Pours a cloudy dark golden and amber with a very lively 3 finger head.

Smells of grapefruit, pineapple, and just marvelously tropical.

Taste is very unique. Very fruity very tropical but perfect balanced with a nice bitter hop finish.

Mouthfeel is beyond smooth for a 9%er.

Overall I thought this brew was fantastic and would most certainly pick up again.

Served in an 8-10 oz. mini nonic. Draft at Northdown, all hail Santa Muerte...

Saturated transparent gold orange, webby lace. Lasting retention and no visible carbonation in the dim lighting of the bar.

Dank papaya, cheesy mary jane, woody eucalyptus. Hops reminiscent of reefer and flinstones vitamins. Resinous alpha acid barbs rip through the palate, while notes of tropical pineapple/papaya headiness and leafy herbaceous greenery linger. Medium bodied and burly, low carb, abv is pretty well disguised. A huge Johnny Cash middle finger to the west coast.
