Notes/Commercial Description:
Behold! The fifth collaborative effort of Three Floyds and Mikkeller. This complex ale is just the beverage for canal boat trips in Copenhagen or the brutal Chicago winter. This year’s offering will be brewed in both Europe and in Chicago. Look for both editions and the subtle differences in each. Cheers and thanks for supporting craft beer.

22oz bottles and draft only.

Poured from a 22oz bottle into a standard pint glass.

A - pours a slightly cloudy straw colored. Surprised at how light the SRMs are. A nice two and a half off white head that provides a good amount of lacing.

S - citrus hops with a piney sidekick dominate. Slightly boozy. Not sure I it's there or my mind is fooling me but there seems to be a bit of the rice note found in the rice beers. Onion.

T - hop dominated. Mainly citrus and pine but some grass notes are there too. Not much in the way of malts. A nice bitterness that is just slightly coarse lingers slightly.

M - medium bodied with medium high carbonation. A fair amount of carbonation as a head can be roused up from some swirling if the glass.

D - surprisingly easy to drink. The hops are nice and the alcohol is muted for being 10%+.

Overall another nice beer coming in from this collab. I don't think I enjoyed it as much as Boogoop but its good. Hoppy with a good mouthfeel for the abv makes this a solid beer. I wish there were some 4.25 ratings available as I'd have some here.

Bottle: Poured a dark blonde color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and some light lacing. Aroma of grainy cereal notes with quite bit of sweetness. Taste is also dominated by grainy cereal notes with some dry notes with quite a bit of residual sugar. Body is about average with medium carbonation and light warming alcohol. Interesting experience but just too sweet for me at the end of the day.
