1800th review! 22 ounce bottle into signature tulip glass, bottled in 8/2012. Pours moderately hazy bright orange amber color with a 2 finger dense cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange zest, orange rind, floral, grass, pine, honey, bread, candy sugar, and floral earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes with moderate pale malt balance; and good strength. Taste of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, pine, lemon/orange zest, orange rind, floral, grass, honey, candy sugar, bread, and floral earthiness. Good amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, orange/lemon zest, orange rind, pine, floral, grass, honey, candy sugar, bread, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity of hop flavors with moderate pale malt balance; with great crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a lightly slick, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic blonde barelywine! All around awesome complexity and balance of hop and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Great extra thrown in a recent trade with maximum12, thanks again!
Pours a light and hazy gold color with a small bubbly white head.
Aromas are hard candies, citrus, some booze and creamy sugars. Smells like a nice DIPA.
Taste is complex and interesting. But calling this a Barleywine seems to be a bit of a stretch. Starts with a hard candy sweetness, and a general spicy grain flavor, almost seems like there is rye in here. Finish is a touch boozy, bitter, with some citrus hoppiness.
Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, lighter body for the style.
Overall, I'm digging this one. It's super unique, and interesting.
