served on tap at FFF brewpub.

A: Black, almost non existent head on the one poured to me, girlfriends had a nice dirty tan head. dont know if mine sat a little longer

S: oats, malt, slight hops, and very little alcohol.

T: phenomenal in my opinion, i dont know where all these people are saying it has a "fishy" taste. i wish FFF had a solid stout that was brewed year round because this or blot out the sun would be it.

M: kind of thin but still full.

Overall this beer is on my top list of stouts to get from FFF. if you get the chance don't pass it up.

(Served in a Nonic)
A- This beer pours a jet black body that I can only assume is the liquid wall of death color. There is a cocoa tan head that sticks in sheets on the glass and some microbubbles that pop out at the surface.

S- The pungent green fresh hop pellets aroma blends with some black char notes and some hints of black roasted malt come through in the finish.

T- The slightly sweet chocolate black roasted malt has an inky quality that grows as it opens and some pungent pine wood bitterness in the finish. There is a mellow char note with some chicory hints underneath and a tart hop note in the finish aswell.

M- The medium-full mouthfeel has a slight slippery finish

O- The mellow char and dark roasted black malts with slight sweetness is strong and nice and the tart green pungent hops are interesting with the chocolate qualities.

Smooth hoppy, fruity start with a bold chocolate finish. It grabs your taste buds before even hitting them. Amazing mixture of hops. A great dinner stout, light but just as filling as any other stout. A great beer to pair with a meat filled meal. Let it breathe for ten minutes and it tastes more like a stout than an ale.

Purchased 22 oz. bomber from Three Floyds Brewpub in Munster, Indiana.

Stout? More like a Black IPA. It did have some coffee notes, but the mouthfeel and taste had more IPA characteristics than stout characteristics.

This is a solid beer that people should try. Personally I will not buy this again because there are better and cheaper beers out there, but that should not deter others from trying the beer themselves.
