22oz bottle purchased at Kahn's Fine Wines & Spirits in Indianapolis.
A: Clear amber hue with three fingers of cream white foam and several strands of lacing on the tulip glass. A few bubbles in the body. A great looking pale.
S: Huge blast of orange zest, caramel, mango, biscuit, papaya, and tangerine; hints of resin, pineapple, and passon fruit develop as the beer warms. Wonderfully bright, fruity, and tropical aromas.
T: Taste follows the nose with juicy navel orange, mango, tangerine, and papaya upfront and some caramel and biscuit flavours to balance. Big zesty and resinous hop bitterness transitions to a long, drying finish. Lovely.
M: Medium-bodied, crisp carbonation, juicy-oily middle gives way to a zesty and resinous hop bitterness and a lengthy, bone dry finish. Awesome.
O: Another model pale ale from Three Floyds. These guys really know what they’re doing when it comes to hoppy beers. A must try.

Pours a dark amber color with a medium white head that goes away quickly. Smells of light hops and caramel. Taste is a malty forward with a hoppy finish.

I've been a fan of Three Floyd's since they first opened in Hammond, Indiana in the 1990s. Perhaps this isn't my type of beer so keep that in mind. I tried it and seriously nearly vomited. It tasted as if someone took some straw, put it in a bucket, added horse urine and fermented it until mold appeared.
I apologize for the crude description but it's the most accurate description I can give.

Nice little bit of fruit smell. Taste is very smooth for a pale ale, but still has that little kick of hoppy ness, but just at the right mark to make it not too much. Feel is the best part of the beer, never want it to go away.

In the land of 3 Floyd's excellence, this is the beer that is overlooked in my opinion. Often on sale compared to it's counterparts, it is an excellent option.

12 oz bottle from the Mega-Bev in Battle Creek Michigan.
Appearance. Brownish-amber colored body with an excellent off-white head.
While not in the same league as, say, Alpha King, this is a fine APA that provides further evidence for the consistent excellence of 3F hoppy brews.
