Poured on tap into a 4oz. taster at Pizza Paradiso Dupont DC. From notes.
Big rings of lacing while drinking this brew, creamy white coating and unbreakable. Light gold to bronze amber body and fairly clear in appearance, and some visible carbonation but small. Very nice.
Nose opens up with juicy melon and cantaloupe like aromas. Hints of tropical and light bodied hop front citrus as well. A real smorgasborg in there, with once a gain juicy palate sensing, and fruit chewy character. Simple, not booming, but solid.
Palate hits with great juicy feel. Large melon and juice, with light bitterness and pine on the finish. There's some tight carbonation at play here as well which brings in more classic Three Floyd's feeling fun!
Overall another wonderful pale ale from these guys, they know pale ale and make just fantastic examples. Real easy drinking as well to boot.

M: Medium-bodied, crisp and bitter
O: Not overly hoppy and has structure and flavors that are very much in harmony. Very well made and tasty

A: Pours a cloudy bronze with a big off-white head.
S: Apricot and tangerine feature most prominently, with a bit of leafiness.
T: Taste is drier than the nose lets on. Lightly sweet biscuit malt, orange pith and peel, bready, light grapefruit resin.
M: Light-bodied but chewy, mild carbonation.
O: Not as impressed by this as I thought I would be. It tastes nice but was looking for something more juicy.
