Review taken the week it arrived in our part of Kentucky: late 2014.

Brown bomber sized bottle displaying the usual great bottle shape fff switched to a while back. Label is exactly as you'd picture with a massive space station constructed in the form of a huge metal inspired hand giving the rest of the universe a big middle finger. Can't complain with the artwork at all. In fact, I like it.

A - Hazy and murky orangish-amber to glowing yellow color. Head pours lovely and big leaving behind a big trail of thick lace sticking all over the walls of my pint glass.

S - wonderful fruitiness and citrus notes up front. A fruit punch like sweetness topped with juicy citrus, orange and lemon. This has a nice balance with a cracker to breaded malt backbone as your nose gets a feel for this gem.

T - flavor is absolutely off the charts. Citrus rind, pine resin, a sweet spice, orange, and lemon all swirl around the mouth like throwing coins in a pot of gold. Fruity and sweet in typical fff style while laying a lovely balanced breaded cracker like malt to smooth the experience. Delicious.

M - medium bodied with a grand feel. Thickness is nothing less than expected from 3floyds. Thickness is superb while coating the mouth, something else these guys rock into a pale ale. Just outstanding.

O - not quite as hop forward as Zombie Dust, but in the same tier of quality. Just another Damn great APA from FFF. It's absolutely ridiculous the way these guys do beer. Space Station Middle Finger is one I hope gets bottled every year. I'll buy it every time I see it. It's just another great brew from the guys who do them best.

This beer has a nice, burnt orange body. Slick white head. An aroma of light tangerine. A taste of tangerine and background perfume. The feel is okay.

Overall, it is a very nice APA. This would be good on a hot summer day/night.

Pours a golden hue in color with a firm white head that stays in hand for the first few sips. This is unmistakably a Three Floyds APA - has that often present blend of a smooth mouthfeel with medium body, good maltiness on the back end and a full hop flavor with tropical fruit on the nose. Excellent blend of bitterness with the fruitiness of the hops and a slight sweetness to balance. Everything goes right with this beer, and at 6% I feel it would be no stretch to enjoy a 22oz of this one too.
