Three months old, was looking for an occasion to share, but no luck. Aroma is tropical fruit heavy, with notes of mango and pineapple accenting resin and a toasted caramel malt base. Flavor is piney and resiny, with tropical fruit and grapefruit underpinnings and a lightly bitter finish. No zombie dust, but a solid offering. Finish falls a bit short.

From a bomber via a trade poured into a pint glass. Bottled 8/1/14 so getting a little long in the tooth, but I had it once on tap at the brewery and this compares well to that.

A) golden slightly cloudy. Fair head with a thin layer of retention.

S) wonderful sweet citrus hop notes. Orange and almost lemon instead of grapefruit. But sweetness is there. Slightly breads but really full citrus. Similar to Zombie which I just had actually. Slight pine notes

T) really nice, more bitter than the smell would allude to but really balanced. Hops with melon taste and sweetness that the noise predicted is present but nicely muted. Really solid.

M) again as Three Floyd's seems to always come thru with a good full mouthfeel on all there beers even the lower ETOH ones .

O). One solid beer. Maybe not ZD but it is different, much more tropical and melon favors then grapefruit but just good. I enjoyed this beer greatly.
