A - Dark yellow with a hazy aspect to it. A nice white foamy white head with one finger of foam

S - Bubblegum, clove, and some pepper spice as well

T - Bubblegum and clove laden saison with slight lemon and pepper. Near the end, there is a slight blue cheese funk that come as well as a slight alcohol warmth

M - Light body with medium carbonation. Leaves a slight soft bubblegum like residue on the tongue in the finish

O - Nice saison. I like the balance between the typical saison flavors with the slight funk. I do wish it had a bit more funk or peppery spice to it

On-tap at the first Off Color open house.

A: Pours a hazy zesty yellow with a huge white head.

S: Smells primarily of bright citrus and some sweet saison esters. Lemon, white cake, mild cloves, stone fruit, orange zest.

T: More lemon, lime, vanilla, nectarine, clean citrus, sweet grain.

M: Light-bodied with zingy carbonation.

O: A very bright, citrusy saison. Pretty decent.

Served in a snifter at Bigby's Pour House.

Finally, I get to try something made with a hand from Off Color. Took me long enough. This stuff pours a hazy straw topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises light orange zest, very light lemon zest, light black pepper, mild wheat, and a touch of flowers. The taste brings in more of the same, along with a dash of what I assume to be cardamom. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a wet feel. Overall, a decent little saison, better than most of the Belgian-style stuff from the Floyds (echoing Masterski's sentiment), but still nothing all that memorable.

On tap at the brewpub the other night. Served in a tulip glass there.

The beer pours a striking gold color with good head retention and lacing. On the nose I get considerable tropical fruit, along with some clove, bubblegum and light bananna. The flavor profile replicates the nose, except the beer was a bit sweeter than I was expecting, and there was more spice as well. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a fairly long finish. The beer had some noticeable alcohol on the finish (wasn't hot or tiring, but you do notice it), which along with the sweetness, hurt the beer's drinkability a bit. Still a solid beer, but I'm not sure this is something I need to order again any time soon.

A- medium straw, white head with good retention, lacing on glass, hazy

S-sweet orange, light peppery notes, mild floral hops, slightly tart

T- moderate lemon and orange, moderate tartness, no peppery notes or hop character

M- medium high carbonation, medium light body

O- nice example of the style but leans a little to the cirius side

On-tap in Munster. 10 oz. into a tulip on May 30th, 2013.

A - Hazy Belgian golden ale coloring, blanketed with a finger of soft white head.

S - Clean rye, savory spices, black pepper, baked bread, and dry hay.

T - Unlike other FFF Belgian twists in that the bitterness is really subdued. The bread shines through quite a lot. Effervescent yeast, herbs, and a hint of some mellowed fruit.

M - Light body, dry finish. Medium-high carbonation is a tad much, oddly enough.

D- Good, but not as impressive as ZesZesZes. This certainly has different intentions though, and is every bit as drinkable.
