A - Amber pour with good clarity. Minimal carbonation. The thing that stands out is that the foam retention was like nothing I've ever seen. Retention was so great it held like an anthill in the middle of the glass. Lacing was in thick lines down the glass. Really a majestic looking beer.
S - Strong scent of lemongrass, tangerines, fresh wheat bread, a light aroma of oily hop resin. Hard to find anything wrong and the fact that this was a fresh bottle only increased my enjoyment.
T - Crisp and flavorful, this has a great balance between citrusy sweet fruit and light wheat notes. Finish is a mild hop bitterness.
M - Wickedly pleasant. I easily could down a sixer of this on my own. Leaves a slightly dry feel on the palate.
O - This is the best pale ale I can recall ever having. Love the citrus notes and the subdued hop taste. Proof that a beer does not need to be extreme to be incredible.
