Have been meaning to review some of my favorite beers. I hadn't really thought about Gumballhead, then my girlfriend was nice enough to bring home a six pack. Forgot how great of a beer this is.
A- Slightly hazy bright golden yellow. I finger of head that dissipates quickly. Very nice lacing throughout.
S- Some nice warm hops out of this wheat beer. Further proof in aroma and taste that IBUs don't mean dick.
T- Delicious. Nice hops upfront that move along the palette into some nice what character, love the way they used the wheat here leaving it to be a nice natural grass flavor like you are chewing on it. No unpleasant artificial sugar.
M- Just so refreshing. Crisp clean and perfectly carbonated.
O- It's great. It's that simple. This one might become a regular in the fridge again.

A: Poured vibrant slightly hazy gold with a very thin head that dropped quickly to nothing.
S: Huge apricot jam and tropical fruit. White bread, lemon, hint of mint, and pale malt.
T: Starts off same as the nose with tropical fruit and apricots. The fruit is much weaker than the nose which is a good thing. Hops come through in the middle with nice lemon zest. Some mild wheat and grassy notes are there with dinner rolls before the hops swing back in with a big fog horn of bitterness.
M: Thinnish brew with minimal fizz. Didn't hurt it.
O: Really surprised me. Not really a wheat beer fan or fruit beer fan but this won me over. It was quite drinkable and refreshing but each swig left me wanting more. The wheat was in the background, the fruit and hops balanced well and it just clicked.

Bit surprised, for a wheat beer this has a pretty hoppy scent. Piney/floral scent, rather refreshing
Bit of oiliness on the palette with a bit of feel, medium/high carbonation and enough bitterness to feel along the sides of the mouth
Pours slightly hazy in a shaker pint mostly clear golden color with a stark head that dissipated although not sure if the glass is really beer clean.
Clean refreshing taste that's got a decent hop bite, has a clear pine flavor which doesn't seem too forward to me.
For me I don't think I'd want to go very many but largely due to hoppiness. This could be a nice session beer.
For this to be a wheat beer it really tastes like a pale ale to me. I like the hoppiness and this is a clean refreshing beer.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a golden amber, with little head. Looks like a beer in a commercial, that's not a bad thing. Smells of citrus and hops, not overpowering. Excellent. Has a little bit of hop bite up front, with the wheat coming in later, but coming in really strong. A hint of something citrusy...grapefruit maybe? At less than 5% ABV, this is one you can sip all day. I just might.

Bottle generously gifted by BA Chaney- Thanks Brandon!
Currently the #1 American pale wheat ale
Pours a golden orange/gold color with a great one finger off white head. Good lacing on my snifter glass. Looks much more substantial than most beers in the style. The nose is unsurpassed by any beer I've tried in the style. It smells like an IPA- that's how good it is. Pineapple, mango, and other fruits are in the front here, along with hops. By FAR the best in style I've ever smelled. Taste follows suit: fairly light, but great fruit, hops, and floral flavors. Some grass as well as it warms. Feel is light, with incredible carbonation/aftertaste. Overall, there's a reason this beer leads it's style. It's incredible, a great session brew. Really glad I got to try this one. Cheers.

Great anytime beer. Light yellow in color hoppy smell on pour citrus taste. Small head disapates rather quickly. Had it New Years Eve but would definitely drink anytime. Three Floyds hit the mark again for me. The store where I usually buy my growlers sells out of this very fast and I was lucky to get some this time cant wait to have some again real soon.
