A - Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing.

S - Aroma is citrus hops and tropical fruits including grapefruit, mango, pineapple, orange, and lemon zest. There is a bit of wheat as well and a touch of spice.

T - Starts off with a mix of lemon zest, citrus hops, grapefruit and mango, and a bit of bitterness. Through the middle, a bit of pine comes through with a bit more bitterness and some wheat. The finish is a mix of wheat, lemon zest, citrus and tropical fruits, mild bitterness, and a bit of spicy hop flavor.

M - Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and bitter finish.

D - Super drinkable. Really nice hoppy wheat ale. Super sessionable but also full of flavor and very tasty.

Bottle brought back from Indiana by my buddy Matt. Once again, thanks to him for letting me try all of these great 3Floyd's brews.

12 ounce bottle poured into a standard nonic.

A: Pours surprisingly translucent orange for a "wheat" beer, but I do see a few large "flakes" floating around in the glass, indicating that it may indeed be "wheat" as it claims.

Heat is thick, full, and bone-white, with big large pancake batter bubbles towards the middle of the glass.

S: Wow. Bright. Citrus. Grapefruit. Pine. Lemon zest. Big nose here. Real inviting.

T: What a treat. 3Floyd's does it again. True to the nose, big notes of lemon zest, huge notes of citrus and grapefruit, and a touch of pine on the back end. The wheat/malt profile is there, but definitely in the background. A touch of breadiness remains on the finish.

M: Carbonation is good. Light and lively, with a dry sticky finish, with a touch of bready yeast and lemon zest left behind.

D/O: Great. Highly drinkable. I'd put this on draft in my basement every summer if I could. Typical for this brewery.

Fresh bottle poured aggressively in a duvel tulip. Clean golden yellow with a 2 inch white head that shrinks to a half inch with awesome lacing. Aroma is Amarillo hops, grapefruit, flowers, caramel, and bread. Flavor is orange, grapefruit, biscuit, lemon. Very smooth with a light and somewhat sticky mouthfeel. I don't drink many wheat beers and this is awesome. I buy it when I can.

355ml bottle poured into tulip 14/4/12

A slight haze in a golden yellow body, there's lots of sediment and tiny bubbles but just a thin film for head but it leaves a fair bit of lace

S big hoppy nose with some grapefruit, peach and mango, nice tropical nose going on here, I don't pick up on much else but that's working just fine for me

T there's some dry cereal notes on the finish but its pretty much all hops at this point, taste thankfully mimics the smell

M medium bodied with pin prick bubbles fluff it up a little, a little bite to it but not overly bitter when I consider how hoppy this one is

O props for the low booze%, to say I'd like to session this one is an understatement, big flavors in a small beer kicks ass

American Pale Wheat Ale? sure why not? more proof to my theory that if you throw enough hops at something it will be very popular, hey what can I say it works on me. If you don't know you better recognize Rutager because he's the man for knocking off yet another want from my list
