On-tap at 3 Floyds. Thanks to Mia D. Vine for the lift. Served in a goblet of some sort.
A - White foam settles to a thin cap, thick collar, and splotches of lace. Hazy orange body of the sort you'd expect from a witbier.
S - Wheat, Belgian yeast, nebulous citrus, some coriander. All the things you'd expect from a Witbier.
T - The taste has a bit more malt sweetness, with less blood orange and spice. Yeast grows a tad phenolic.
M - Medium body, with a dry, slightly grainy texture. Pleasant active carbonation, and no obvious alcohol.
D - It's a good example of the style, and not as sweet as the mass market offerings. I wish there was a bit more of a contribution from the blood orange, but that aside, it's still well-executed and true to style. I'd probably order this again as a change of pace beer.
