A: Clear cooper, very attractive looking
S: Pick up mostly the vegetal aromas with some of the sweet, piney orange. This is the aspect of the beer that I'm not a fan of.
T: Flavor pops as it warms. Orange, pine with good malt balance.
M: Medium body, heat comes on in the chest. Sneaky booze....
O: Like the flavor of the beer a lot and the mouthfeel makes it an "easy" drinker. I normally like this style cold, but this beer is MUCH better a bit warmer. The smell is odd, doesn't completely go with flavors.

Pours a chill hazed golden copper with a lingering, frothy cream head.
Tangerine, orange, and resin dominate the aroma. Pine and soft caramel malt surface late.
Flavor is far more resiny and less sweet than the aroma leads one to believe. Apricot, tangerine, and grapefruit accent a bitter, resiny, earthy backbone that lingers in the aftertaste. Bready malts serve only to link flavoring and bittering hops. Notes of onion emerge.
Body and carbonation are moderate, with notes alcohol warmth.
Not as complex or malty as dreadnaught, and far more resin. A little too much bitter hop focus for my liking. But the citrus flavoring hops that are there are yummy. As it warms, the bitterness subsides. Could use more malt.
