The beer pours a clear amber/golden orange with a thin, loose, off-white head that settles around the glass's circumference without lacing. The nose is sugary sweet with aromatic notes of tropical fruit, tea, and slightly resinous pine. There is almost no hint of booze in the nose. The taste is near cloying, heavily hopped without being overly bitter, and has a lingering floral/herbal hoppiness in the finish. This beer might be most comparable to APW in hop-profile and drinkability. The mouthfeel is bitter, but not abrasive, medium bodied, sugary sweet, well carbonated, with minimal alcohol, finished by a lingering and flavorful hoppiness. This beer doesn't differ too significantly from other FFF offerings, but still has a distinct uniqueness that I dig in all their beers.

On tap at Eataly - Chicago, IL
L - hazed tangerine colored ale, thinner off-white head
S - fresh orange rind, caramel
T - orange and tangerine zest, apricot, peppery, piny, caramel malt, slightly herbal, a little odd but not off-putting, definitely unique
F - medium, finishing very dry with lingering orange rind, pepper and pine
O - different but a bit of a let down from Three Floyds. It's not bad, and is still rather good, but it's a beer I would not get again.
On a side note, I'm not big on food pairings, but pair this with Eataly's Panino al Brasato di Maiale. They are a perfect match.
