Whale's Tale Pale Ale is an English style pale ale named in honor of Nantucket's whaling history. Wonderfully balanced with Maris Otter malt, hints of crystal malt and generously hopped with East Kent Goldings, it has a rich honey color and fruity hop aroma.

Had some left over from yesterday, waiting on my mash to finish up.
Poured into a pint glass a light copper hue with a finger of off-white head.
Nose is lightly floral with a touch of earthy spiciness on top of subtle sweet malt.
Nicely carbonated bite, lightly bready, solid maltiness that is never too sweet, and kept in balance by a bitterness that's similar to the nose - light, somewhat floral and earthy at the same time. It's very crisp and clean, obviously quite drinkable.

Decent beer. Could use less hops but otherwise it's excellent.

Another beauty of a beer, slick and creamy, sticky lacing all the way around and down. Light malty aroma, taste more malt capped with a touch of bitterness. Very enjoyable.

Cisco Whale's Tale English Pale Ale, 5.6% - this is really good, and such a pretty beer! Deep, dark, fruity hops and crystal malts make for a nice break from grapefruit and flowers! Cheers!

Clear amber appearance with an average size off white head and decent lacing. Earthy, herbal, bready aroma paired with a touch of spice. Subtle, rounded hop flavors matched against a strong malt backbone. Bitterness is evident but not sharp. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel.
