Pumple Drumkin pour a really clear amber with a decent foamy offwhite head that pretty much disappears entirely leaving next to no lacing on the glass at all.
The aroma has nice pumpkin pie spicing with a solid cooked pumpkin background backing up a clean malt scent.
The flavor for me is pretty much the standard pumpkin ale, seeming a bit over-spiced in the clove and coriander department. There is ample cooked pumpkin which is always a plus, nicely balanced with a clean moderatly sweet malt. The finish is lightly sour, and dries up quite a bit from hop bitterness and the pumpkin pie spicing. Warming does wonders for this beer, rounding out the rough edges of the spicing and bringing, nearly eliminating any sourness and bringing an even better balance between pumpkin and the malts.
The mouthfeel is medium, slick but lacking much creaminess from the sharp carbonation.
Overall this is an above average pumpkin ale, my wife says this is a pumpkin she could actually drink and she does not like pumpkin ales at all. Wasn't quite up my alley so draw your own conclusions there.

A- Pours golden-orange color with a big creamy two-finger off-white head that retains long after the pour, leaving some lace behind.
S- more of a hoppy nose than a typical pumpkin ale with some herbal and woodsy aromas. Typical pumpkin spices are there with some raw pumpkin and toasted bread malt
T- well balanced pumpkin flavors of nutmeg and cinnamon, bready malt balances with a subtle pumpkin flavor, herbal and grassy hops close it out
M- Medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a smooth mouthfeel and a silky dry finish
O- a different take on the typical pumpkin ale, the increased hop bitterness played well with the pumpkin spices
