A substantial seasonal that is almost a spicy Octoberfest.

Look – Pours out bright orange in color with a slightly hazy body and two fingers of white head
Aroma – More of a squash aroma than pumpkin and some deeply hidden flowers/potpourri. Other than that it doesn’t have a lot here.
Taste – It’s mostly those flowers from the aroma, but dirtier. Mossy, grassy notes, but not in a good, bitter, wet hop way. I said squash on the aroma too, but here it is super vegetal and off-putting. Why am I tasting green beans? This is just plain bad.
Mouthfeel – Light-bodied, but not watery. Would be easy to drink if it didn’t taste terrible.
Overall – Not good. Really not good. I know I’m putting this beer through the ringer, but this is one pumpkin beer that gets a thumbs down.

Just the right amount of pumpkin and spice flavor. Not overpowering so you can still taste the ale. Solid seasonal choice.

The little pumpkin guy caught my eye. Tis the season, right? Ordered myself this pumpkin beer at Cisco Seaport and could not have been more underwhelmed. Color-wise, it was promising with a nice dark amber tint, limited head though. An aroma of spices and pumpkin is there, but not as pronounced as some people describe. I have had pumpkin beers smell like a pumpkin pie, and this doesn't have that wow factor. In my opinion, the taste is less pumpkin-like and tastes more seasonal fall spices/cinnamon. Wanted more fall gourd flavor. The aftertaste is bitter and wasn't particularly pleasant. My first pumpkin beer of the season, so we will go up from there.

The pour is sort of a bright looking orange. The nose is not as big as other pumpkin ales I've had of late. The pumpkin is there in the taste but it's light & I want to taste more of it but they do a good on addin the right amount of spice into the mix without spoiling the beer. There is no date anywhere on the can just a set of numbers that I can't seem to figure out what they mean. This beer drinks quite smooth, I think I would pick this up again. Cheers! B-

12 oz bottle into Sam Adams glass. No date.
Semi-clear pumpkin color. nose is spice, mostly clove and cinnamon. Taste follows nose. Feel is light. Overall very nice for what it is but more spice here than pumpkin.

Smells and looks like pumpkin. Very cute can. Taste is like Whale's Tale Pale Ale with some spices that don't super taste like pumpkin. Overall a solid seasonal, but nothing super special.
