Cisco only makes shaker pints, and that's not an appropriate style of glassware for this beer, so I opted for a handy Odell bell tulip. Deep red-brown color with a slight haze, with a small cap of white head that receded to a sturdy collar, leaving moderate lacing on the glass. Some ugly yeast floaties in the glass, even with a careful pour. Lactic nose, vinegar and oak, cherries and red wine. Sour cherry taste, lacto, lemon, grape skins, fairly acidic, some hints of acetic acid, but not as much as detected in the aroma, some funk. About a 6.5-7/10 on the sourness scale. Medium body, lower-medium carbonation, tart mouthfeel. A nice beer overall. I honestly didn't know Cisco could make anything even remotely close to this.

Into a Duvel tulip it pours a vibrant dark crimson. Crackling foam and a light haze, lots of active carbonation visible. The head disappears rapidly and there's no lace, otherwise the color is very nice.
Aroma has a cheesy funk to it, a slight minerality, acidic sour cherries; pits and all.
Moderately sour with a bracing acidity that scrubs the palate. Light tannins and cherry skin bitterness, juicy cherry flesh, bright acids. The Flemish red base brings a touch of acetic acid. Medium bodied with ample carbonation. Overall this was a nice rendition, makes me wonder if it was possibly inspired by Rodenbach Alexander.
