Hazy, pastel peach with yellow highlights and a slight, quickly dissipating white head that leaves no lace.
Very fresh, faint peach. Quite fruity with light yeastiness and some lactic sourness.
Pechish Woods was far less sour than had been hoped for. Light peach and apricot added a nice, sweet-tart balance. Oak and light vinegar with acidic lemon were also noticeable. The finish was long, tart and acidic.
A woolly texture is surprising here. A light body, no discernible alcohol, and effervescence were as expected.
This is a nice beer for warm, mild, sunny days on Nantucket. I enjoyed it with friends while waiting for dinner. Pechish Woods stops short of the outrageousness one often finds in wild ales.

No head and no lace. The liquid is light orange-amber color. A bit of haze.
When the cork pops, I do smell a whiff of peach. in the glass, it's more sour, like a peche lambic.
Very sour with a peach background. It would certainly give the lambics a run for the money. Virtually no sweetness. Full bodied with a low carbonation. Interesting, particularly from the US, I certainly appreciate the effort to make this.
