A bottle, poured into a duvel tulip. Muddy purple beverage, hints of amber and red under the haze. Smell is of blueberry jam, not a lot of fresh fruitiness but old, Cooke down fruit and a hint of English yeasty ester.
Flavor is bland. Blueberry and balanced bitterness, a hint of toast and malt body, but largely just jammy fruit.
I don't get this beer. It's not oaky, not acidic, not malty, not very flavorful. It's labeled as an oak aged beer made with fruit, it tastes like a steel tank and blueberry juice concentrate. A total meh. The problem is, I can find anything to dislike either. Insipidly boring.

L: Pours lively hazy pink under a thin white foam collar with a light pink tint. S: Big blueberry nose with some light grains and a hint of rye spice in the background. T: Very lemony tart with big blueberry flavors weaving in and out as the beer moves over the tongue. The tartness of the fruit cries out for a big plate of fish and chips or some calamari. Has a tart, almost puckeringly dry finish. F: Light, tart, effervescent, refreshing. O: This is a very good summer beer that is much better than I expected.

Pours out a nice bluish/red with a small head that is white with a bluish red tint with little retention. Smell is immediately brettish with a little blueberry in the back. Smells decent but nothing out of the ballpark. Still smell nice. Taste is a little brettish funk with some definite blueberry taste and slightly acidic although not tart or anything. Mouthfeel is fairly nice from the carbonation as it is a tad thicker than I expected. Overall it has a little funk and a little blueberry but it has a little strange taste that I can't put my finger on. I love fruit beers more than others so I find this beer to be OK but really wasn't the beer I was hoping for. I'll update if it starts tasting nicer once it warms up a bit.

Pours a hazed purple ish pink color, fuchsia to be precise. Smell of blueberries and cleaning product. In the taste, lemon and blueberry flavors dance in a moderate tartness. Light wheat, some citrus and little alcohol heat. Light bodied feel with a medium level of carbonation.
Overall, this was a nice little blueberry brew. Nice flavor.

I never liked Cisco beers but still stupidly decided to give this one a try despite the crazy price tag of 24 bucks for the 750 bottle. I should have followed my instincts.
Bueatiful violet colored body.
Very fragrant. Lovely smell. Flowers and blueberries. Very nice. Some medicinal phenols that could pass for flowery.
Taste: Medicinal. WTF. big time phenols. Blueberry flavor comes through and is nice but the medicine flavor messes everything up. I understand there might be some funk in this beer but this is not a very good flavor in my opinion. However, as the beer warms up and you get through the bottle, the taste does grow on you somewhat. I did finished about 3/4 of the bottle although my initial reaction after first sip was immediate "drain pour".
Good in all aspects except for the taste. Big disappointment.
