The Gose is an uncommon style in modern times: an unfiltered wheat ale, brewed with a bit of salt. While salt seems like an unlikely ingredient, the result is a dry, spicy, lightly fruity, and flavorful beer.

Picked this up from the brewery on Wednesday. Super well done Gose. It's not a style for everyone, but this is a super solid take on the style.

Where it seems that brewers are getting themselves confused over what's a gose and what's a berlinerweiss, The brewers for Cisco has their finger on the pulse of the gose style and know how to knock it out of the park!
Bold cloudiness accompany the pour with a bready visual texture to capture those bright lemon drop hues. Its tall froth builds from champagne-like streams of bubble and pop to delight the senses with a doughy, fruity and spicy mix. Its dense flavor weaves together the finer notes of sugar cookie, whole wheat and light bread head of its lush lemony tang.
The beer billows in taste across the middle palate where its bready sweetness is slow to relax and keeps the taste creamy, full and spicy. While the salt additions tether through the flavor, aiding in its full taste, mild white wine acidity, apple, clove and white pepper pay homage to the hefeweizen in Bavaria.
Nearly forceful with carbonation, the tightly woven bubbles ensure a creamy malt structure from nose to tail. Its full-ish body is mildly cakey as its mineral salts give a savory taste in the ale's softly spiced finish.
