How could we hope to top last year’s Jewbelation Sweet 16 with its cupcakes, unicorns, & Satan’s Ferrari birthday cake? massive challenge. So for Year 17, we threw in a whole new dimension to our shtick – we built our very own brewery! After 17 years of contract brewing, our first Shmaltz Clifton Park batch emerged 17 months after the first draft of the business plan. Coincidence? Renaissance means “Re-birth” in French & Italian. In Buddhism, the concept does not truly translate as “reincarnation” but instead as “becoming,” or a “stream of consciousness.” 11 syllables structure a haiku. Shakespeare penned 17 comedies. In The Simpsons episode “Duffness” Homer sings “When I was 17″ about buying his first beer with a fake I.D. “I drank some very good beer. I stayed up listening to Queen, When I was 17.” In The Office, Dwight recites Rule 17 that all Schrute boys must learn: “Don’t turn your back on bears, men you have wronged, or the dominant turkey during mating season.” Knowledge and growth come in many forms. It is taught that Nirvana is only attained when the soul transcends cycles of rebirth. Looks like Shmaltz just isn’t there yet. So with 17 malts, 17 hops, and 17% ABV, JEWBEL4TIONREBORN serves as another mark of our death as a contract brewer and proof of our conversion to a new life as brewery owner…… L’Chaim!!!

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a Surly Darkness chalice glass.

Appearance: Pours a very dark brownish black with a moderate amount of bubbles. About one finger of tan head that slowly fades into a thin creamy layer. Leaves a lot of creamy lacing around the glass.

Smell: A bready, toasty, and fairly earthy aroma with hints of hops and dark fruit undertones. Dark roasted malts with bready hints of biscuit, toasted bread, dark chocolate, sweet caramel, toffee, coffee roast, grains, yeast, nuts, and some smoke. Sweet hints of molasses and burnt brown sugar. Earthy hops with hints of grass and pine. Also some citrus hints of orange, grapefruit, and lemon. Dark fruit presence with hints of figs, raisin, dates, plum, and prune. Some alcohol scent is noticeable. Actually a more laid back and drier aroma than expected. Pretty good.

Taste: Like the aroma previews, a dry, bready, roasty, and earthy mix of malts and hops with dark fruits. Dark roasted barley malts with notes of biscuit, burnt toast, dark chocolate, coffee, sweet caramel, toffee, grains, yeast, nuts, and smoke. Some notes of sweet molasses and brown sugar. Big hop presence with earthy and herbal notes of grass and spicy pine resin. Citrus hop notes of grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, and orange. Dark fruit undertones with notes of raisin, fig, dates, prune, and plum. Some alcohol heat is tasted. A pretty good taste that is actually nicely balanced.

Mouthfeel: Very full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Creamy, chewy, and somewhat oily. Alcohol heat is definitely felt but its much smoother than 17% would suggest. Impressive balanced dryness considering the big amount of ingredients.

Overall:A pretty good massive strong ale. Huge mix of malts and hops but it is nicely refined and avoids becoming a sweet mess. Surprisingly smooth.

22oz bottle, a frustratingly difficult offering to come by around here, as there are myriad (usually beyond weak-ass) stories abounding as to why different stores don't carry it. Meh, it was easier to get an over-pour of this at the GABF last year. M. Cowan missed a certain '17' reference in Winger's creepy ode to underage sexual allure. Hey, I have a certain impending feeling of getting worked over right now too.

This beer pours a solid, well, almost black, with prominent red cola highlights pervading, and three fingers of puffy, frothy, and tightly foamy tan head, which leaves but a small bit of low-lying, ebbing seawall lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.

It smells of roasted, somewhat meaty caramel malt, chocolate liqueur, middling black fruit esters, treacle, brown sugar, sharp alcohol twinges, and musty earthy, leafy, and weedy hops. The taste is actually not quite as gag-inducing as I was expecting - sure it's strong, the heat really, really close to the surface, in the sense that a mere muscle tic in my throat might cause it to come spewing forth. Anyways, the flavour is replete with singed, dense caramel and bready malt, somewhat acrid black fruit flesh esters - prune, dried cherry, plum, and figs - strangely unsweet brown sugar, a hint of oily nuttiness, dry cocoa and coffee, drier tanned leather, overripe, kind of fermenting apples, musty licorice, and an ethereal earthy, weedy hoppiness.

The carbonation is pretty innocuous, barely even registering on the froth-o-meter, the body a sturdy medium-heavy weight, generally smooth, with that threatening booze informing just a little too much on any nascent creaminess. It finishes off-dry, the now meek-seeming malt ceding control to the chocolate and dark fruit cabal, while the alcohol hones its metallic edges.

For such a strong brew, the 34-proof booze is actually pretty well integrated, relatively speaking - any wines of comparable ABV are much more hot-tasting. That's not to say that it doesn't seem to be lurking around every corner - it surely is. Everything else is just subservient to that - the malt, the hops (all 17 of each), the fruitiness - it all comes off as pushed down, and somewhat dulled. Hmmm, not surprising, I suppose.

Pours an effervescent ebony with 2+ fingers of mocha colored head. Stellar lacing & head retention

S: Bready, plums. Figs & a bit of booze as this warms up

T: Follows the nose, a touch of pumpernickel & booze up front, plus dryness, some carob & molasses as well. Molasses, carob, plums, prunes & booze heat as this warms & a touch of charred grain as well. Finishes fruity, dry, with charred grain & molasses, plus some boozeyness

MF: Chewy as all get out, warming, slight carbonation

This is complex & not easily drank in one go by yourself. Still hides some of its heft fairly well. Not always a huge fan of these anny offerings from these guys, but this one delivers. I bet this one will drink great for years if not decades...

This is a huge beer. The nose packs a pretty massive wallop. Chocolate, booze, intense roasted malts, coffee, grapefruit, pine, bready, smokey and a bit a char. It smells a lot like a malt forward black IPA.

The taste is much hoppier than the nose but its also much more of everything. It is what we call “a beast”. Chocolate, tangerine, orange, pine, grapefruit, burnt malts, booze, smoke and char, vanilla, toffee, caramel, oak, raisins, dates and a handful of raisins.

It reminds me a lot of Clown Shoes’ Blaecorn Unidragon, which is a big, bitter Russian Imperial Stout. Its a lot like a stout but its so bitter and hoppy that it leans toward a double black IPA. Its hard to classify. However, I am pleasantly surprised by the balance of flavors here. Throwing that many ingredients into a beer could lead to a train wreck but they toed the line and came out with a delicious masterpiece.

Poured into a snifter

A- pours nearly pitch black in color with a small light tan head that eventually reduces to a small layer, leaving a bit of lace behind

S- lots of booze on the nose, some herbal hop notes, floral hop, sweet caramel malt, burnt brown sugar and toasted malt on the finish

T- big, sweet and boozy. Flavors are all over the place, picking up some floral and herbal hop, sweet caramel, brown sugar, booze and candied sugar

M- thick and viscous body with moderate carbonation leads to a sticky and chewy mouthfeel with a warm finish, lots of alcohol burn at the end

O- this one was a bit harsh, which was expected seeing how fresh it was. Some time in the cellar may mellow it out a bit, definitely one to share as drinking this on your own will put you on the floor

Slightly more than a fingers worth of late to develop audibly fizzy medium brown colored crisp frothiness... Decent retention... The head turns richer and creamier as it settles a bit... Once fully settled there is a mostly fully thin veil of lacing and thin to moderate collar... Aubergine in color... Limited carbonation which is micro-sized an quite sluggish and can only be seen towards the top of the glass... A rich, deep and complex aroma... Dark fruit... Grape juice... Brown sugar... A light layer of hopiness lingers beneath the surface... A hint of molasses... Given the high 17% ABV, there is no booziness detected on the nose... The bouquet is spot on for the style... Dark fruit... Raisins... Dates... Cherries... Plums... Brown sugar... Light hints of vanilla and molasses... There is a subtle red wine tannin character through out... Thick... Viscous... Chewy... Surprisingly smooth... A light boozy burn on the deep finish... A sipper for sure... Much more well rounded and sophisticated than I had expected... No disrespect to He'brew, but any time you combine 17 different hop and 17 different malt varieties, the potential exists for a hot mess, but He'brew pulls this one of exquisitely... This one ends up being a rock solid and world class American (Very) Strong Ale... Shalom...

On tap at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.

Pours a very dark , brown, basically opaque. Looks stout-like. No head, really, and no lacing.

Smells boozy, with tons of burnt/caramelized brown sugar and molasses.

Tastes great- the aforementioned caramelized brown sugar, milk chocolate, toffee, caramel, burning alcohol, and some musty, tea-like hops. Some dark fruits are present as well, plums mainly.

Full and creamy mouthfeel. Very present alcohol keeps the drinkability down a bit. Essentially no carbonation.

17% ABV here- 17 malts and 17 hops used. This is an extreme beer, and tastes like it. It ultimately works, but I can bet that this beer will really benefit from aging, up to 5, maybe even 10 years. Some time down will really mellow out the alcohol and bring the sweet caramel and brown sugar flavors even more to the forefront.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours pitch black with a thin film of brown foam that leaves slight lacing. Rich aroma of dark sweet caramel and toasted malt, vanilla, licorice, dark dried fruit, molasses, slight booziness. Flavor of molasses, sweet dark toasted malt, dark dried fruit, toffee with a rapidly developing hop and dry earthy bitterness, finishing with grassy hops and grain alcohol infused malt. Medium bodied with light carbonation. This starts out quite nicely, with a great complex aroma and initial taste, but falls apart in the end as the really substantial malt and flavor is defeated by the huge ABV. It is an interesting and satisfying strong ale, but shows the limits of pushing the proof boundaries. The base beer is nice, but one has to drink this very, very slowly and is left with a boozy after taste. I've enjoyed following this series from moderate ones through the latest incarnation; but wonder if Shmaltz can pull off the next few. They have done great and I hope for the best.

Picked up a couple last year. Loved it and finally getting around to the 2nd.
look: Very dark crimson. Huge mocha head on the pour, for such a big beer.
smell: Decadent dark fruit and caramel.
taste: More of the same. Just delicious, and rich.
overall: Guess i'm the minority in thinking this is an elite brew. Not sure if that means my palate sucks or the opposite :) In any case, loving this. The booze is there but well hidden for 17%. Kudos.

Poured into a mini-snifter. Aged one year.

S- Boozy, burnt sugar, caramel, dark fruit, maybe some fig, still very hot after a year.

T- Sweet, more dark fruit, booze, lots of booze. Alcohol drowns out much of what is underneath.

M- Slightly creamy at first but starts to sting as it warms. Hot.

O- Past years were better.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short dense dark tan head that quickly died down, leaving lacing covering the surface, a patch of bubbles in the center, and a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of caramel malts, raisins, and toffee are present in the smell along with some hints of alcohol. The alcohol becomes much stronger as the beer warms up.
T: The overall taste mostly follows the smell and also has some initial flavors of oak. Once the beer warms up, the taste of alcohol becomes a lot stronger and seems to overshadow the other flavors. Slight bits of bitterness are perceptible.
M: It feels full-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. The alcohol lends some warming to the mouthfeel and makes your mouth tingle a little.
O: For such a strong beer, it manages to hide a decent portion of the alcohol, but only when the beer is cold (it definitely tastes strong, but nowhere near has the level where the alcohol is overwhelming and makes this undrinkable). The drinkability does deteriorate as the beer warms up and the alcohol become a lot more prominent.

22 oz bottle pours a rich dark brown color with a dense cap of creamy brown head. Nice retention and lacing.

Nose is huge on the malts and alcohol. Tons of roast, chocolate, molasses, dark fruit and sweet simple syrup.

Whoa, this is sweet - diabeetus sweet. Malts are the main player with lots of molasses and cocoa powder flavors. Alcohol is big, hops are surprisingly lacking. Mouthfeel is unsurprisingly thick and syrupy. I am not a fan, I thought 16 was ok, but this one is all over the place...maybe a couple years in the cellar will smooth it out.

This one I stored in the wine chiller so it would be warmer and ready to drink like a proper ale.

This beer pours a rich deep black with a THICK tan to brown head that is more like a slice of bread in thickness than foam. The lacing doesn't exist because the head is so thick it pulls the foam down with it.

The nose is sweet malts, alcohol and hints of hops with notes of coriander, vanilla, fructose, and honey. The high alcohol content is there but surprisingly not a detractor from the nose.

The taste is rather complex with the dark roasted malts being dominant with hints of coffee and caramelized sugar. The beer is extremely fruity and sweet with the blend of 17 ops making their presence quickly known as well. One would expect that this beer would be somewhat off balanced, and have too many extremes due tot he incredibly large number of ingredients. The spiciness is an undertone that exists throughout that is slightly overburdened by the presence of the 17% alcohol. The sweetness is present int he beginning and the finish as well as being present when you lick your lips afterwards. The hops pop in the middle and are so complex I cannot distinguish them. Despite all of the allegedly distracting notes, excessive complexity and moonshine worthy alcohol content this beer is surprisingly subdued by the enormous amount of flavor.

The mouthfeel is very rich and heavy and coats the palate nicely.

Overall very drinkable and enjoyable but just too strong and heavy to be a regular in my fridge.

App: Shit is black. Very dark pour, with almost no light passing through the pour. Typical proter like head with lack-luster retention and no lacing.
Smell: Deep roasted malt aroma, notes of coco, walnut, and alcohol volatility. Bready, with notes of pumpernickel.
Taste: Straight up booze taste. Very alcoholic, even more so than red wine. Notes of fig, raisin, and prunes. Sweet and lingering.
Mouth: Overall, fairly thin. Too boozy to be properly enjoyed. Strong for the sake of being strong.

Hebrew Jewbelation Reborn 17
22oz bottle into a snifter

17 malts, 17 hops, 17% ABV. I was a big fan of last years anniversary release, excited to try this one.

A: Pours an opaque black with just under 1 fingers width of tan colored head. Head dissipates down quickly and leaves almost no lacing, but some alcohol legs.

S: Roasted malts, black coffee, cinnamon graham cracker, semisweet chocolate, subtle dark fruits, a bit of booze. Very good aroma, but fairly mild considering how big this beer is.

T: Big and boozy, roasted malts, fusel alcohol, plastic, black coffee bitterness, subtle dark fruits. Alcohol presence is way too strong though and dominates the other flavors.

M/D: Full bodied but not thick, carbonation moderate, ABV is certainly noticeable but its not hot going down, and for the insane ABV drinkability is pretty good.

O: So I absolutely loved last year's Jewbelation Sweet 16, but I'm not really a fan of this one. Real nice aroma, but the flavor profile is overpowered by boozy ethanol. Im disappointed. Might settle down with some age, for the price its probably worth grabbing a bottle and throwing it in the cellar for a year or two. I do, however, appreciate them sticking with the trend, and I look forward to seeing an "18 malts, 18 hops, 18% ABV" beer next year.

Well, to be honest, these Jewbelation series beers have been going downhill since 13, which was phenomenal. Now it just seems like too much of everything and becoming a mess. Plus they are so boozy they're hard to get down. But I still want to try them and see if any come close to how good 13 was, and it's a bit of a tradition to drink them during a big snow storm, or just before it, since it will help warm (started by helping to warm when we lost power during a snow storm).

Pours a small mocha colored fizzy head that fades semi quickly, very little lacing, but nice legs on the sides of the glass, typical everything for this high abv, super dark molasses brown color with small hints of ruby coming through.

Nose also goes all over the place like ti can't figure out what it wants to do, a hint of cocoa and mocha flash through, then quickly into raisin and brandy soaked prunes, varying levels of caramel, mostly dark caramel and molasses, little dusty cocoa, hint of a roast and coffee, creamy oats with teh dark chocolate, biscuit, toffee, and even a little biscotti almond aromas. Some booze poking through, perhaps fusel, but not as bad as it should be. Actually the nose does have a lot to it, but not as crazy and messy as the last couple Jewbelations. It's actually not bad. I wonder if they finally got a hold on the various malts and got them to harmonize a bit.

Taste starts very sweet, like a Southern Tier stout sweet, big sweet malts, candy covered with more candy and candybar. Plenty of malts again too, and booze, which comes on hot and tingly, a little fusel but not too bad. Malts bring a lot of different flavors again, at least somewhat harmonized again, starting with teh caramel, many various levels of caramel and caramelized sugars, into molasses, and a nice toffee, then a bit of a almond nutty biscotti again. A mild cocoa and dark chocolate, as well as some creamy oats and milk chocolate, touch mocha and coffee but a light coffee. Malts also have a hint of biscuit and toasty grain, little candy cookie, a very mild raisin and alcohol infused date. A bit syrupy but not too much, and really really sweet still. Finish is sticky sweet, it attempts to dry but not much so, little syrupy still, mild creamy, and bit more fusel booze but not a ton, lots more of the varying malts again.

Mouth is full bod, syrupy, thick, little prickly small bubbled carbonation, plenty of fusel alcohol.

Overall not bad, lots of malts that tend to go everywhere again, but not too crazy and they seem to go well together a bit, lots of malts that are pretty good, a bit too sweet and syrupy, but doesn't go too crazy, booze is quite strong too, but not overbearing. I can drink this, and it will help with the impending doom of the snow storm.

Modest starting head that settles to rim bubbles. Little lace--just some spots. The liquid is deep brown where light shines through on the edge of the glass.

Interesting aroma of slightly darker malts (despite the very dark color, there's no burnt smells). Light hop given that there are 17 different varieties.

Extremely rich beer (with a low-ish carbonation). Soft start but it does become a flavor bomb quickly. The malt is complex without any particular style being dominant. Like the smell, taste wise it is closer to light toast with no burnt elements. There's a potent alcohol warmth throughout the tasting. Good hop presence. In a word, balanced. it is extreme on the body and the alcohol.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a 3F Teku glass.

A- Pours a deep brown, muddy body with a decent 2 finger light chocolate head that reduces slowly to leave blotchy lacing.

S- Lots going on here, smells very complex. Sweet caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, dark fruits, toffee, slight booze, candied sugar.

T- Starts off with tons of sweet malt notes that really follow the nose - caramel, toffee, dark fruits, light coffee and chocolate notes.. the finish is roasty and slightly charred.

M- Thick, rich body, low carbonation.

This exceeded my expectations.. a very well crafted beer. Remind me of a heavy version of a Quad. Would never guess it was 17%

A: Black body with a light tan head. Fluffy and creamy looking head. Good lacing.

S: Alcohol with a complement of caramel, in that direct order. Nothing else that I can discern. I'd say it smalls okay. It's not uninviting, it's just telling me "expect caramel and a lot of alcohol" and leaving it at that.

T: Wow very crazy rich. It's like drinking molasses, coffee, chocolate syrup (the ice-cream kind), and dare I say it bourbon. I find it pretty hilarious that I don't find any of this on the label. Huge bourbon flavor. Medium roasted coffee. Lots of rich dark chocolate. Insane flavor profile here. It tastes like unfermented beer. It's worth buying just to experience this flavor bomb. Not balanced at all, just a huge explosion of flavors. When I think of people going off the charts, trying to expand the limitless boundaries of what we call "American Strong Ale," this is exactly what I think of. Admittetly I am very impressed. I wasn't sure what to expect from a label that boasts "17 Malts, 17 Hops, 17% ALC. By Vol." I honestly was ready for it to be a mess, but approached it open-minded. As the beer warms, it lends flavors of oak to the palate.

M: Very full bodied, slick, sticky, syrupy. It's pretty hard to drink considering how thick this beer is, but it's so worth drinking. Absolutely a sipper. It's hard to rate it, because I can tell that the modus operandi of this beer is to be big and bold. I can't rate it perfect because it is very thick and syrupy, but it is a crazy wonderful feeling beer.

O: Well...I picked up this beer on a whim. I was not expecting how good this thing would be. I don't know if this is just one of the best secrets in the beer world or if it was just an amazing batch. This is the first beer I've had like this from the Shmaltz Brewery, but I will definitely be looking closer at them in the future. This beer is legendary.

very dark brown, almost black in color with ruby highlights. thin khaki head that stays awhile. rich malty aroma, dark fruits, burnt sugar. similar in the taste, slightly sweet, also a bit earthy. fairly viscous, lower carbonation. coats the mouth.

overall - pretty damn smooth for a 17% abv beer. Hebrew does it again

Poured from the bomber to a snifter.

A: Poured an opaque, very dark brown, nearly black. No head.

S: Sweet boozy. There is a sweet candy smell. There's just so much in this beer its hard to really distinguish anything, just smells like a sweet malt bomb.

T: Crazy sweet, nearly cloyingly sweet. It really just tastes like syrup with added sugar, tons of brown sugar. Molasses. Slight coffee. Maybe some fruit coming through?

M: Full bodied. Sticky syrupy mouth feel. For 17%, the alcohol is hidden fairly well.

Overall this was in between good and okay. It's just too sweet for me. To begin with, I don't really enjoy malt bombs. The alcohol is there, but its hidden fairly well. It actually started to grow on me as it warmed.

Its like they filtered a bunch of rotten fruit through rotten coffee grounds. If there are toffee or caramel notes in this beer they are also rotten, and I do not like them in my beer anyway. The guy at bevmo recommended this after I said I love North Coast Old Rasputin, but they are nothing alike. People drink this garbage?

Dark, sweet, syrupy. This is some strong medicine. Splashed out 1/3 each for son-in-law, his dad and meself on Father's Day. Really packs a wallop. Very little head, but so many complex flavaz in there, smoky and lots of spice and fruit. Mouthfeel is great, like Robitussin with exactly the same effect.

Appearance- Pours up about half a finger's worth of head which has some retention. The head is a dark beige/mocha while the body is an opaque dark chocolate body. Some lacing extends from the surface of the beer but I do not expect this beer to leave much lacing. It does leave considerable lacing.

Nose- Lots of presence with most of that presence coming from the bold caramel of the aroma. Vanilla and toffee with hints of coconut. A little bit of bubblegum with other candy like notes. The nose is very sweet and portends a very sweet beer. Reminds me a lot of a barleywine. Shows none of the 17 percent. Coconut starts to assert itself over the caramel. This beer has a lot of promise. Some butterscotch.

Taste- Definite caramel that moves into burnt caramel with definite coconut and some vanilla and toffee. Very reflective of the nose except there's a bunch of alcohol (Who woulda thunk it?) However, it's quite tame for 17 percent. Some woodiness (mostly oak) on the finish but it really can't compete with alcohol. The oak works well with the vanilla and slight toasted notes that occupy the front of the flavor profile. Some raisins are tucked in the background but like almost all of the other notes, this gets sent packing because of the high heat. But do not think that the high heat is a negative because it isn't. It may inhibit some of the complexity of the profile but it itself is not obtrusive. Some bumblegum and slight candy. As I wrote before, not much of a departure from the nose. The strong woodiness gives it a bitterness that suggests coffee and roasted notes. Some leather and a little bit of astringency from the alcohol. Nevertheless, this is very well rounded for such a high gravity beer. I would really like to see what aging would do for it and because of that, I think I will be purchasing another of these beers. Good to very good.

Mouthfeel- Almost heavy. Lots of syrup to the texture but a good amount of carbonation helps cut that.

Drinkability- It's a little scary. Great integration and balance. I should not be drinking a bomber alone. Seems deserving of its 12 buck price tag if only for the fact that it kicks every wine's ass in regard to alcohol content. Plus it tastes good.

Overall- Is it an Imperial Barleywine or a Imperial Wee Heavy? The last one seems more accurate but it has elements of both. Definitely worth a try. I haven't had the last two efforts but I don't know how they are going to keep uping the ante. I will certainly buy more of this. It is fine fresh and seems worthy of aging.

A - Dark brown to pitch black pour with a minimal head giving way quickly to a thin toffee colored lacing ring and no carbonation. Swirl the snifter and it's incredibly viscous looking with some serious legs.

S - Pretty subdued aroma for a beer this size. Dark fruit, light molasses and vanilla, mild smoke aroma, oak, and healthy alcohol effervescence. (Everything sort of blends together which makes the nose a little sloppy.)

T - Chocolate malt, toffee, molasses, dark fruit, soy, wood char, and a moderate amount of boozy medicinal character. There's a slight amount of astringency in the background that is distracting and when paired with the booziness the two elements wreak a little havoc and masks the other flavor nuances.

M - Thick, syrupy, sticky, and moderately warm on the way down from the alcohol.

O - I enjoyed the 16th Anniversary more (sorry to say). I bought two bottles and plan to cellar the 2nd one to see where it goes, granted, the 17 is pretty green right now and I give Shmaltz the benefit of a doubt so I will revisit this review after the 2nd bottle sits for several months (or longer).
