Pours a creamy almost 2 finger head that fades at a medium pace with a sticky lacing, over toasty auburn orange-red color.
Nose brings some toasty reddish malts, light crystal malts, light brown sugar, light syrupy aromas, and a mild earthy hop.
Taste has some brown malts, some toasty reddish malts, hints of brown sugar and a slight corn syrup flavor, some interesting toasty quality I can't put my finger on, a slight dried fruit, a bit of bitterness with some earthy and slightly herbal hops. FInish brings more of the hops as it dries with a slight sticky feel, and some more toasted nutty malt flavors.
Mouth is medium to a little bit lighter bodied with decent carbonation.
Drink is pretty good, drinks smoothly, some herbal earthy hop bitterness hits a bit, no real booze, but a slight sticky finish. Almost sessionable, but not quite.
