Hazy amber in color with some light shining through. The white head, though smallish, sticks around for a long time in a bubbly sheet on top. Thick lacing is left by it. The malts make their selves known in the aroma, bready and caramelly laying down a great base for the hops to shine. These hops are earthy, resiny and a bit piney, and even a touch catty. Nice full aroma here, both hops and malts coming out to play.

The malts and hops fight for first place in this flavorful brew. The malts put up their caramelly, but almost rye-like breadiness and spiciness in the ring, putting up a great showing. They aren't sweet at all, just hearty, adding a very strong backbone to a big flavored beer. The hops come in between the middle and back of the palate with a balanced hop attack, not insanely bitter and overpowering, but instead pleasantly flavorful and a solidly bitter. The hops are earthy and resiny, pretty much mimicking the aroma. They are also a bit piney and even catty, but again: not overpoweringly so. The combination of hops is great with adding that big balanced balancing factor to the beer, but the malts are actually what make this beer pretty darn good as far as flavor goes. They add a dimension to the IPA that is hearty and actually ends up balancing out some of the resiny hops with a touch of sweetness instead of the other way around. The body is light enough not to be bogged down, but heavy enough to support the bountiful flavors. The only complaint I have with this beer at all is that right smack dab in the middle is a slight wateriness that throws the mouthfeel a bit out of whack. It comes back around shortly and finishes somewhat dry.

Pretty damn good beer here, balanced but on the darker spectrum of balanced. I.e., there is a lot of heavy malt flavors, but there are plenty of heavy resins from the hops to balance them out. Overall, very good and worth a try.

Poured from bomber into glasses and shared with friends. Slight chill haze in a reddish copper with a thin white head. Aroma is of dank, piney, resinous hops and slight biscuit malt. Taste is very good, the hops really shine through. Nice dank resin quality but with a fair amount of malty sweetness to balance. Fairly dry but with adequate body and good lingering carbonation. Overall a very enjoyable IPA.

Poured from the 22 oz bottle into a large snifter.
Pours a nice medium copper with one finger of tiny bubble head.
Smells nice, good dank hop aromas balanced with good malt backbone.
Taste is nice, very balanced very much in line with the standard west coast IPA style.
Mouthfeel was really enjoyable, very inviting for each sip.
Overall this is a nice west coast IPA style beer!

Bought in 22oz bottle, poured into a standard libby pint unchilled pintglass.

Decent head, 1/2 inch, light and bright yellow.

I enjoyed this beer very much. Light and springy taste, some citrus, a little hoppy, all in all a very nice sit on the boat and fish beer.

Very drinkable.

Picked this up at my local HEB to try something new. On first taste the beer was your average IPA, upon further consumption the beer was very dry. I poured into a proper glass to see the color and get the aroma.... The color was average but the smell was disturbing. Would not buy again. Too many others to try.

Poured from a 22oz. Bomber into a Snifter (I know, I know, not appropriate glasswear, but I just bought it and wanted to use it)

A) Pours an amazing, striking copper/orange. Hazy to say the least with a good amount of bubbles dancing inside. About a quarter inch of pale white head blanket the surface. A mesmerizing looking brew.

S) A lot going on in the nose, but not one dominating scent. Some resinous dankness tie in with some bitterness. A lot of citrus notes, mostly pineapple and lemon, along with some grapefruit.

T) Taste a lot of what I got in the nose, citrus and some bitter hoppiness. Maltiness becomes more pronounced as the brew warms to near room temperature.

M) Pretty smooth and drinkable with a fair amount of carbonation.

O) The appearance of Hop Manna is one of the best looking I have seen in an IPA. However, the rest of the experience was a little less flattering. Not saying there were poor qualities to the brew (many were better than average), just nothing that really blew me away. All in all, a very drinkable IPA and a solid example of the style.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a 14 oz "pint" glass. Pours cloudy orange yellow with a nice fluffy head. Smells of flowers and citrus very inviting but not too overpowering. Tastes of sweet citrus hops with a bit of earthiness. Beer is light bodied with lower carbonation but a good bite. Overall a very good beer.
