Pours amber with a thick white foamy head that descends to a full cover. Patchy lacing sticks.
It has a classic American IPA nose: citrus- grapefruit/orange/lemon with leafy spicing. Caramel backs it up.
The taste is of a citric and leafy bitterness with sweet caramel and pale malt backing. Plenty of hop taste in the finish.
It could be creamier/fuller, but it is smooth and holds up to a medium body.
This is a nice representation of a hoppy/caramelish American IPA.

pours a golden amber. clear. huge puffy head that takes forever to mellow and leaves a thick layer of rhiney foam too substantial to be called lacing. i like it. it looks like i could peel it off and toss it between slices of bread...oh my god, wait a sec!...
smells kinda dull but that could be me so i'm still giving the nose a 3, but from here its kinda bready. hops, smells dry. no real citrus or pine but i'm assuming i'm missing something
wow. dry and actually pretty thick and sticky for a standard ipa. nice. piney and super bitter. not too much citrus, but its there, easy to miss though. good, little different. decent malts too but you'd expect that with the amber hue.
kinda covered the mouth. its sticky and more full bodied than i thought. not extremely thick, but you know, standard ipa thick, somewhat more than normal without being a double or imperial.
overall well worth the 5 bucks. i'll be back.

Poured from a brown 22 oz. bottle. Has a cloudy orange/golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is kind of mild, some hops and pine. Taste is hoppy, some bitterness, pine, a touch of malts, very dry at the finish. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.
