Pretty clear, amber/orange, finger or so of white head, some retention and some lacing.

Grainy with a good dose or caramel, some sweetness, and a pleasant but not especially powerful blend of hoppy aromas that represent the usual elements of floral, citrus and a bit of pine. Smells nice, but not exceptional by any stretch.

Much like the nose. A bit of black tea graininess, plenty of caramel malty flavor and sweetness and the aforementioned hop influences backed by hop bitterness that is on the mild side of moderate.

Well carbonated, medium/full body and viscosity, some gentle warming, and a mildly bitter finish.

Glad I tried it, but for $8 a bomber, I doubt I will reach for it often, if ever again, considering all the other IPA options available (including the ones I make). Certainly a good beer, but not exceptional.

Tall bottle from Knightly Spirits in Orlando. First He'brew offering, and I do have to say the kitsch labeling works for me.

Poured into a nonic. Light amber, slight haze, decent level of head, some lacing. Nice looking IPA.

Nose is classic American IPA, with caramel, earth, citrus and c-hops.

Decent IPA, the flavors are all there. Good malt base, notes of citrus and earth. A bit of pine here and there. The whole thing is off for me because the bitterness of the hops only distracts from any subtlety here. I don't get the diversity of flavors the big boys consistently deliver, and so I left feeling underwhelmed. Mild body, I agree with a previous poster that this felt like a small beer.

It's not that I didn't enjoy drinking this ale, it's just that there isn't much to make a fuss about.

[Suggested Glassware: Tulip Glass]

The pour was a medium copper orange with an average (1-2 finger) almost white rocky head that receded slowly, down to a large puddle and large collar with excellent full sheets of lacing.

The aroma was of a grain malt, floral and grassy hops and a soapy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit) and a mild fruity ester (pineapple I believe).

The taste was lightly sweet and a tad bitter with a touch of caramel and a light fruitiness pretty much throughout, with the finish being much more on the bitter hoppy side with pronounced bitter citrus peel ending. The flavor lasted a long duration following the swallow, with a lingering grapefruit bitterness left behind.

Mouthfeel was just past light in body and mildly dry in texture with a somewhat mild carbonation.

Overall this was a smooth and tasty IPA, with a good balance between the hops and the mild caramel sweetness, which definitely allowed for a very enjoyable drinking experience...
