Pours a dark brown with a reddish hue. The label lists an interesting malt bill that even includes chocolate malt. Hops are Warrior, Cascade and Liberty.

Sweet and "nutty" aroma greets the nose. The chocolate malt shines though and makes a good contrast.

This theme repeats in the taste. Very sweet and nutty. Hops stay in the background, allowing the malts to steal the show.

Chocolate malt steals the show at the back of the throat. Clean finish.

Very taste nut brown ale. You have to try it.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a hand glass.

A: Dark brown. Pours a half finger, bubbly brown head. Settles quickly but not completely. Fair peak and valley lacing.

S: Roasted pecans, dark chocolate, caramel, and tea leaf.

T: Bready malt. Light roasted bitter pecan. Bittersweet dark chocolate is also evident.

M: LIght body. Earthy. Lightly bitter finish.

D: Sessionable, but worth savoring.

Atmosphere is pretty good. Fair head, and some decent lacing. Pecans, chocolate, and fresh tea. Bready, earthy texture, bittered with some dark chocolate. Overall, this is a pretty good quaff.
