Visited here yesterday after a day at Glacier NP.
Atmosphere was interesting, huge dark bar comprised of 3 main sections. One is greeted by a long narrow bar on one side and seating on the other. On the other side of the wall from the main bar is another seating section with an auxillary bar. Then there is an outdoor patio.
Quality of the beers and food was good. There was a lot of PBR sitting presumably in front of a happy group of locals but mostly there was a good selection of micros.
I have mixed feelings about rating this category since this is a purely self serve place. There was one bartender covering the 25-30 patrons. The bartender was definitely friendly. The kitchen staff was extremely friendly as well.
Selection of beer included Big Sky, Kettlehouse, Tamarack, Sierra Nevada, and Deschutes.
Food was excellent! Da Boss and i had the Fajitas Wednesday special and i can honestly say they were the best ever experienced!
Overall value was very good, beers were $2.75 and the Fajitas were around $7 or $8.
I can see this place would rock in the evening - definitely check it out if you are in the area!

A big sprawling place, and very popular with the locals. Big long bar with seating as you walk in, long bench on the back wall with tables, with another long table & stools further into the room. Plenty of room to stand and enjoy a beer, watch the various tv's over the bar and on the walls, or stand and listen to the bands. Games room with bar service and 3 pool tables, tennis table, stage and a large patio (with bar). 18 taps on offer, which are split between micro/local and the usual macro stuff. During my visit the micro on offer was Sierra Nevada Pale Ale & Glissade, Stone Arrogant Bastard, Deschutes Red Chair, Lakeside Yard Sale Amber, Big Sky Moose Drool, Black Star Pilsner, New Belgium Fat Tire, Blackfoot Single Malt IPA & Organic Pale Ale, Kettlehouse Double Haul IPA & Cold Smoke Scotch Ale. All beers are served in 16oz mason jars and cost $3.25. During Happy Hour, which is 1pm to 6pm (I think) all beers are reduced to $2.75!!! Bar & wait staff are very friendly. Food is above average bar grub; the nacho plate to share is a sight to see; will easily feed 4 or 5 people. Bands play most nights, which really draws the crowd in (beer prices rise $0.25 to help pay the band). This is THE place to go for a good night out in Whitefish.
