Vom fass at Maulwurf in Vaihingen. Love when it’s served in the appropriate glass, both by style and branding. A clean, tasty Helles, above average no doubt, and an easy drinker. VfB Stuttgart is likely going to be relegated at the end of this 22-23 Bundesliga season. Sad!

De color ámbar, con un dedo de espuma de poca retención. Cuerpo ligero y alta carbonatación. Aroma herbáceo y maltoso. En boca tiene notas de amargor y dulzor.

Yields a pale golden, hazed liquid with a huge, stable head.
Smells of dried herbs, lighter straw and caramel with just a note of rustic grains - very well balanced and intriguing.
Drinks soft, light and refreshing with a certain, well balanced softness to it.
Tastes of sugared bread dough, caramel and soothing wheat. Got an aqueous layer with some dried hops to it, opening up the palate to a pleasant, balancing dryness. Finishes even dryer, clean and crisp with a gentle softness to it, with just the right amount of remaining malts and hops to entertain the palate till the end.
This is quite lovely, just a tad too heavy on the malts and a bit too light during the finish.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear yellow golden color with a very large, thick white head. Scent is a bit of yeast and grass. In the mouth, it is clean with a bit of malt and some hops. Pleasant!

330ml can served in a snifter. PRD 15.03.2019. MHD 15.03.2020. Gift from a friend at work.
Pours clear bright golden. Smallish head, medium to low carbonation. Smell is lager yeast, grass, mild honey.
Taste is a nice blend of honey sweetness and moderate hoppiness. Easy drinking light beer, some interesting floral notes.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Overall, not bad at all.

Review: Bottle of Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu Spezial: ABV: 5.2%
Using the soft pure brewing water from the Black Forest.
Looks fantastic on pour, very clear golden yellow colour on show.
Despite the photo, the head dies a quick death, very flat, which is a little disappointing
Some slight carbonation,
Apart from shit head, it looks good..
Had a very nice beery smell, very good, very tinty on the nose, smelling of grains, nice sweet smelling malts with some lemon citrus...
A smooth light crisp drink, not too much to taste,
Bit sour, bit creamy,
Some malts
Any taste is felt in the aftertaste, with a hoppy bitterness which is manageable,
But overall a very light and smooth drink, but nothing amazing, ok......
