It's a creamy brew with a characteristic roast and nutty malt flavors finish with some lingering spice.

This a wonderful, old school, oatmeal stout sent courtesy of beergoot, thanks!
Dry overall I get plenty of roasty goodness in the form of baker's chocolate and faint coffee. Some light brown sugar sweetness as well and a nicely full body.

12oz can. No dating information found.
Straight black coffee colored body. One finger of light tan head. Leaves a thin ring of webs in the aftertaste.
Aroma of dark roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, and slight vanilla.
Taste is sweet but also has a bitter and sour note. Dark roasted malts and dark roasted coffee. Some dark chocolate. All tail off in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel, with some creaminess from the oats. Dry and bitter finish. Good carbonation.
Slightly lip curling when sipped, but seems balanced for flavors.

This was kind of terrible to me. Razor-thin feel even when warmed. Bad flavor. Idk I don't think I like this brewery at this point, I hated this being completely honest. That said it's not the worst thing ever.

Beautiful color, unfortunately the taste is solid, but doesn’t live up to the color and smell. Whenever I drink a stout, I end up wishing I had a barrel age stout instead.

12oz can poured in to a nonic glass. Canned on 01/09/20
Almost opaque dark coffee color with a modest mocha colored head that recedes quickly to a ring of foam, minimal lacing and active carbonation streaming.
Aroma is roasted nuts, toasted dark bread, coffee, bitter chocolate, caramel/burnt sugar, light dried dark fruit and a tinge of citrus peel.
Taste is toasted malts and coffee, a bit of bittersweet chocolate and dried dark fruits, roasted nuts, burnt sugar, light spicy hops and a bit of citrus peel.
Medium/light bodied, pretty crisp. Light bitter finish, a lot of carbonation on the tongue.
Not really true to style but it's still pretty good.

On draft, really well balanced oatmeal stout, more on the roasty end

On tap at the brewhouse. Dark brown, almost black color, one finger head that quickly faded, little lacing. Slight aroma of dark roasty malts, not much else. Good sweet roasty malt flavors, along with some slight coffee notes. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Overall this was pretty good, but not great.
