A double red ale that sports a fiery hue with a pallet full of caramel, cedar and toast. Dry hopped with just enough hops to balance the malt profile.

This smelled like a bad IPA. The taste was slightly better but you have to be looking for malt to find it. Minority or not I found this a terrible representation of the style. Although reps have a knack for giving bad samples...
Having educated myself a bit this wasn't that bad and IN FACT it is a solid representation you just ha e to know if you're getting a hoppy red or not. I still agree with reps giving not the best samples though.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass nary a 1/2F tan head is formed that fades in seconds to nothing. Color is brick brown with a slight red tint and 90% opaque.
On the nose I get a bit of dark wheat bread and some light yeast.
On the palate I detect lightly roasted malt with a light bitter hoppiness and some dark alcoholic dryness on the finish. The dryness fades a bit as the beer warms and I detect a bit of interesting tanginess as well.
Mouthfeel is medium but it feels a bit on the light side, is creamy and a bit slick, but not cloying.
Overall pretty nice with some resemblance to Belhaven Scottish Ale. Not sure if I would buy again but worth a shot on a single to see how you like it for sure.

12oz can with a canned on date of 11/06/20.
Orangish red color with a finger of head. It is hazy which does not surprise me anymore. Malty aroma of caramel and toffee. Earthy hops compliments the caramel and toffee malt flavor. Finishes just a tad sweet despite the heavy malts. Medium body with nice carbonation. Feels almost creamy.

Poured from 2 nicely chilled 12 oz. aluminum cans into a sparkling clean English pint glass. It appears the brewer has changed the label design and upped the ABV to 7.3%. In a word: Scrumptiousness. Has a milky sensation of a Brown Ale, but with a nip of hops in a good swig but also a long after taste of it, too, the hops. Solid. Enjoyable. Hearty.

On tap at Hop n Drops and holy crap if this isn’t the best beer I’ve had all day! So I singed it a little on color and head because, well, it’s light and the head was just gone. But, golly, I do love the caramel and biscuit of this one.... It’s only noon and I’ve got miles to go before I sleep.

Bright color. Smooth and balanced. Slightly weak in the malt department. Awesome can design.

Can. Khaki head. Burnt orange/amber color.
Nice hoppy flavor with a balanced malt profile. Caramel and bready. Earthy, grapefruit citrus, pine, and a hint of resin.
Really drinkable.

Working my way through a mix pack from Pikes Peak and onto the red ale. Gave it a hard pour and ended up with a nice head on the glass, slowly sinking but reaches a sort of holding point about halfway down and looks like a milkshake - nice. The body is orange-rust-red and cloudy. Love to see some cloud in a red ale. The nose is more toffee and malt than I thought it would be, almost like a brown ale; most of the red ales I've had I consider closer to IPAs. The body is medium but fairly crisp, and the taste is not as aggressive as I thought it would be (though I am having this directly after their hazy IPA). The hops are there but well-balanced against the malt. A bit of a different take on the reds I've grown accustomed to and I have to say I like this quite a bit. Perfect late-summer / fall beer.
