Taken from notes written last year from a goody bag of beer brought back from my sister's trip to Finland.
33cl brown bottle w/ a cool painting of an Admiral on the label.
It pours a pale straw/golden color with a medium-sized pure white head and small flecks and streaks of lace.
An light smell of cut hay with a citrusy hop background and a whiff of dry malt.

The flavor is mild in every which way. The spritzy body has a mild dry bitter bite. The malt is noticed only with vigorous lip and mouth smacking (yeah, I was in good company). A minor herbal taste emerges as it warms.
This is a light lager with no objectionable aromas or flavors. Just a bit too mild for my tastes.

Light lager of remarkably low gravity (less than 10 degrees Plato).

Nice label (19th century admiral) on a brown bottle. Color bright yellow with an occasional golden spark. Very compact head and minimum lace.

Smell appetizing, fresh - hops, new-mown hay, herbs, maybe wild flowers.

Taste disappointing - after a soft malty start nothing really happens, the hops are too gentle and malts too anemic. Mouthfeel watery, and body definitely very thin. But finish is bitter, hoppy, and so is the aftertaste (hops and grains together).

Better than an average American-Macro but poor in comparison to many Scandinavian & Eastern European lagers.
