On draught at Bailey's, Cellar D'Or is bright gold with a small white head that leaves scattered lace.
Smell is nice and estery, some tropical fruit notes, floral, a little lime spritz, a hint of clove and diacetyl.
Taste is spot on as well ester wise as well, more on the spicy than fruity side, nice minerality and clean cereals. A touch soapy. Modest, herbal hops
Mouthfeel is light, a touch spritzy, not knife edge sharp but reasonably dry.
Drinkability is pretty good, this is a solid saison true to style. not really sure what that soapy thing is all about but it's not a deal breaker, and I like Saisons so much that it doesn't really bother me.
