Had a pint on tap at Ri Ra in Portland, Maine in fancy stemware.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden orange with a minimal head and little lacing. Carbonation heavy. Glows brightly in an attractive way.

Aroma: This beer has a nice floral aroma with notes of grapefruit, lemon, hop bitterness and some light graininess.

Taste: Taste follows the nose. Tasty, easy drinking, sessionable ale. Hops and grapefruit are most forward. Some nice malty balance. Good stuff.

Mouthfeel: It's slightly light of body, but it's meant as a summer session ale, so that's fitting.

Overall: Really good pale ale. Makes me want to check out more from this brewery.

Had on tap at oxbow and took home a growler

Golden orange hue clear light lacing

Smell clean crisp light citrus

Taste light pale orange, clean and refreshing would be great fishing beer, or hot afternoon sipper and at 5.5 percent almost a sesion beer for profesional drinkers

smooth clean taste great fininsh impressed at first sip.

Celeste poured a sample at the tasting room and was immediatly hooked, had a full pour and took home a growler that was consumed by two of us quickly in an afternoon.

My first taste of Oxbow - poured into an Oxbow glass from a growler bought today.

Nice light citrusy smell and nice light yellow color. Small head that dissipated quickly and left no lacing. Light mouthfeel and pleasant taste - nice farmhouse with some slight backend bitterness. A little flat from a carbonation perspective. Very sessionable, especially appropriate for a summer day or evening (unfortunately today is April 17 and it's supposed to get down into the 20s tonight up in Maine).

Overall, a nice tasty beer, but I would have preferred a little more head and carbonation. I would definitely quaff one again given the opportunity. Thank you to Oxbow and the kind Celeste!
