I had this on tap at Federal Taphouse in Harrisburg, served chilled in a tulip.
the color is golden with hazed clarity and white head. The smell has a light funk and white grape aroma with slight herbal accent with a yeast ester which is indicative of a saison. The feel has big tanginess and slight barnyard texture with peppery spice and light tannic element with mild sweetness and gentle bitterness with moderately high carbonation and dry finish.
The taste is great -citrus tanginess and light grape notes with slight herbal woodiness and dry malt backing with a yeast spice and dry mild wild yeast flavor in the finish. Overall I was extremely pleased to try this -nice barrel treatment a solid example of the style!

Batch #8. Served from a 750ml bottle into a Crooked Stave Tulip. Cellar temp. This was a real gusher folks.
Appearance- Cloudy orangeish with a two finger fluffy off-white head that left some nice lacing.
Smell- Brett straight up. Some oak, apples/pears, green grapes, some light lemon. Very floral and brett forward.
Taste- Apples, grapes, pears, brett, oak, floral hops, grass, yeasty funk. Very light tinge of heat to it.
Mouthfeel- Very carbonated, medium-full body, light heat at the back of the throat, light tartness.
Overall- Another great beer by Oxbow. These guys really can't go wrong. I wish they would bottle more and distribute to RI, because I miss them!

An outstanding farmhouse beer. It is complex with the brett and oak. The oak plays in balance with the other flavors. It is everything you'd want in a farmhouse ale with the earthiness, funk, and bready qualities. The mouthfeel, dryness, and effervescence sold me. Just awesome.
