Had on tap @ Terrsas Next Door -Wayne, PA

Everything was fine until the middle of the palate to the finish hits hard with a string Lemon Pledge flavor. Overpowers & blows this beer up.
Coats the tongue and just too much chemically lemon flavor.

Could not finish the glass. Tried to but was just too over the top.
My co-worker ordered it and it was not a beer we'd try again.

Appearance: Arrives with hazy honey color; the modest head leaves a few strands here and there

Smell: Grassy and peppery

Taste: Toasted bread, up front, with grassy hop flavors building in the mid-palate; peppery yeast elements emerge, after the swallow

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation]

Overall: Packs a lot of flavor into a low ABV beer

Serving type: on-tap

4 oz. served into a wine glass at ChurchKey. From notes.

A: Pours a golden straw color with only a small white film for a head. It's not quite as hazy as I like my saisons to look.

S: I notice fresh apples, cherries, and some wheat. It's nicely fruity - especially for 4% - nor is it weighed down by overdone yeastiness. So maybe the clarity in the appearance was for the best?

T: Drier than the aroma suggested. A fruity opening is very brief before spicy, herbal notes dry out the middle, leading to a white grape finish. Simplistic, yet satisfying.

M: It's everything you'd expect from such a small saison: very light, dry, and easy to drink. Carbonation could be more lively, otherwise there's nothing really to complain about here.

O: Compared with some of the masterpieces I had earlier today, this one fell quite a ways short. But for what it is? It's pretty solid. I would entertain the thought of having it again, at least.
