Served on tap in a pint glass.

Appearance: Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Heavy lacing on the glass.

Smell: Hops, mild citrus.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Dry strong hops with a mild citrus taste.

Overall: Good brew, I would have this one again.

Hazy and golden yellow with a little head. Aroma is a lot a melons and a wonderful citrus bouquet with a touch of must as it warms up.
Taste is very crisp and malty light initially followed by a earthy hop bitterness that blends well with the corny type maltness. A well balanced beer packed full of flavor that I find it hard to nail down the specific flavors but you know there is a slight tart edge and a touch of phenols. Very drinkable

Growler enjoyed over the weekend in Bar Harbor while camping. Reviewed from notes taken.

A- Appropriately poured from the Oxbow growler into the Oxbow snifter/tulip glass. Golden light orange body with some natural haziness to it. Creamy white head a few fingers high with decent retention. Lots of lace clouds around the glass.

S- Super juicy hops. A lot of fruit feel with both citrus and tropical varieties coming to mind. Reminds me of melons, mango, peach, passion fruit and orange zest. A ton of hop aroma and extremely inviting.

T- Like the aroma, hop flavors are big but maybe just a bit less dominant here. Juicy tropical fruits, citrus zest, spicy and grassy flavors come to mind; some could be from both the hops and yeast strain. The farmhouse yeast makes an appearance here that the hops mostly masked in the aroma. Some light fresh cracked grain and sweetness from the malts.

MF- Light bodied but a nice silky, foamy texture with any agitation. Moderately high carbonation and it finishes with a medium bitterness.

One thing I enjoy about this beer is the use of hops to get an amazing aroma and flavor from them, almost at an IPA level. I also enjoy how the hops seem to blend in with the yeast and everything comes together into one great taste. Super drinkable and flavorful, a new favorite.

Beautiful straw gold color, nice citrus/grass/hay nose, thin quickly dissipated head, nice bright floral and slightly hoppy taste and a nice lingering on the back of the tongue.

On tap at Meridian Pint. This is a collaboration with Coppertail Brewing Co.

Pours a hazy, cloudy pale yellow.

The aroma is a little sweet, citrus notes, a little peach and pear.

The taste is mostly citrus hops, a little bit of melon, and some spice. Moderately sweeter than I anticipated.

Light, sessionable and refreshing. Not a lot of carbonation.

A - Arrived in a tulip glass with about a finger's worth of head. The head didn't retain particularly long, nor did the beer leave noticeable lacing on the glass. Grizacca is a straw colored saison with good carbonation visible in the glass.

S - Nice aroma, mostly the lemongrass that I would expect. Little bit of smell that I typically associate with the yeast.

T - Quite nice. Follows the nose lemongrass and a bit of peppery spice up front. Nice fruitiness on the finish. Not overly sweet, just enough.

M - On the light side of medium, which is fine. The carbonation also felt lively and the finish was moderately dry.

O - This beer contains many of the characteristics that I look for in a saison! Had it on tap during a trip to Maine and normally seek out Oxbow when I'm in the area. This seems to be a solid strategy for finding good, local beers.
